(*PGH Preseason Player of the Year*)rnGarner was a name that became very familiar to Prep Girls Hoops these past few months. She ran on the grassroots circuit with North Carolina-based ABC Lightning and also announced that she would be committing to the University of West Georgia. Garner’s scoring and rebounding capabilities make her one defenses have to game plan against and it is why she should have a seamless transition to the college ranks. Garner also made her presence known on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit at the Music City Showdown in Franklin, Tennessee as part of the Triumph Region. Last season’s Wildcats rendition was defined by its deep 5A playoff run.

Also among the early signees was a star big from the Midlands.

Garner had herself an interesting AAU season as she played for coach Gary Williams and ABC Lightning – a travel team based out of North Carolina.

A team based to South Carolina’s north was where she balled out during the 2022 club season and a college team to South Carolina’s west is where she will call home for college as she declared her commitment to Division II West Georgia.

Garner also fielded offers from North Greenville and Francis Marion – the latter of which landed her Wildcats teammate Alexis Sexton, now in her freshman campaign with the Patriots.

Last season, Garner led 5A Lexington to a deep tournament run and averaged 12.1 points and eight rebounds a game – only two boards shy of a double-double.

Recently, Garner became the latest standout in the Palmetto State to announce a college commitment as she will head to the Atlanta metropolitan area to play her college ball at the University of West Georgia under coach Joanna Reitz. Garner had herself a noteworthy showing on the AAU circuit with North Carolina-based ABC Lightning and head coach Gary Williams. Her schedule included a stop on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit as part of the Triumph Region at the Music City Showdown in Franklin, Tennessee. Her travel team also took part in ATL Summer Slam at the Suwannee Sports Academy. Garner led her Wildcats to a deep run last season in the 5A playoffs.

Lindsay had a good summer on the Grassroots Circuit with veteran coach Gary Williams and ABC Lightning. Garner plays several sports for the Lady Wildcats. Lindsay has a soft touch to face-up to the basket or she can drop a nice jump-hook over the defender.
