South Pointe has established itself firmly as a state power in South Carolina – in large part because the 4A Stallions have one of the premier bigs in the state on its roster. South Pointe concluded last season with a robust 29-1 record in large part due to Cunningham’s heroics in the interior. She also can find a rhythm in the midrange game. Playing in all 30 games last season for the Stallions, Cunningham nearly averaged a double-double – 18.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest. The objective for Cunningham and her South Pointe assembling is simple – be the last 4A team standing when we get to early March.
