Tyra is a really good all around player that is certainly worthy of a lot more recognition. Sun Valley’s lead ball handler finished on the 3rd team All-County list this past season. As a PG, I love the way she operates in pick and roll situations. She definitely has the speed you want from your PG. She makes the right reads and will facilitate to the open teammate. She takes good care of the basketball and she always put her team in position to score. She is good in the half court game but she has no problem playing in transition and leading the break. She can be found on film rebounding the ball, then taking it the length of the floor, beating everyone down the court. Tyra already has the skillset that alot of coaches are already looking for and would certainly do well with a coach that is looking for a very high upside guard.

Tyra Robinson showed off her range shooting the ball even in her opponents’ faces, and she had a nice bounce pass up the court hitting her teammate perfectly in stride fora fast break play. She had a strong play taking the ball coast to coast scoring on a fast break untouched. She worked well on the defensive side of the ball stripping it away from her opponents. She scored through contact making some three point plays from the free throw line.

The fiery combo guard had a a very good year for the Lady Spartans, averaging 12 ppg and finishing top ten in assist in her county. Tyra does an excellent job with her full court pressure and is excellent in ball denial. She can consistently beat her opponents to spots and is such a pesky defender. She disrupts passing lanes and forces turnovers with her constant defensive harassment. Don’t be surprised to see her knock down the 3 ball as she was able to step back and show her range this past season.
