The top 4 players from the class all can impact winning basketball in multiple ways, but one, in particular, is developing into a transcendental playmaker. The combination of court vision, size, and athleticism creates a significant gap between her and the rest of the competition. That said, the best player in the class of ’24 is Bay State Jaguars star wing, Natalia Hall-Rosa Natalia Hall-Rosa 6'0" | SF Bridgewater-Raynham | 2024 State NewE .

Following Hall-Rosa through the spring and summer, one could project she would hold down the number one spot in her class, but I did not expect it this soon. That is a testament to her rapid development in all phases of the game. I remember back when the summer first began, and she showed flashes of dominance in the halfcourt. Hall-Rosa always ran the floor like a thoroughbred, could punish defenders around the basket but showed inconsistencies with her shooting and in-between game. Every time I watched her play from that moment forward, you saw improvement in different areas. In one tournament, she was becoming a threat in the high post. In the next tournament, Hall-Rosa showed how efficient she was shooting off the bounce. The cherry on top was her playmaking and passing accuracy that has been added to her game recently. Hall-Rosa is 6’0 and skilled, so I know she will find a way to score and get her shot off. Now she can maximize the talent around her and be dynamic in the passing game, making her virtually unstoppable.
If you want evidence of how excellent a passer Hall-Rosa is, observe her 4 other teammates and watch what they do when she has the ball in her hands. The constant movement by every player. The cuts to the basket are harder, the shots are going up with more confidence, the team moves with more urgency, and it is because they trust that when Hall-Rosa is the primary playmaker, she can put everyone else in a position to score. This development was not there in the spring or even the July live period. Hall-Rosa has started to figure out how to impact games without scoring in a matter of weeks, and it is hair-raising. Not only do teams have to worry about getting blown by in the open court, or bringing over a double team when Hall-Rosa is one on one inside, but you have to be mindful that she can pick you apart with pinpoint passes. Her growth over the past couple of months has been staggering, and Hall-Rosa is only going to get better.
