Week 7 Highlights- 695Hoops Fall League

The final week of fall league action saw some good matchups to close out league play. Pallotti only had five available players for their game but it did not slow them down one bit. They play a crisp and efficient game as all five players showed out. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137252" first="Jaela" last="Reid"], 2022, Wing, Meade </strong> Jaela had a really strong week, showing off her freaky athleticism with several highlight reel plays. She was very active on both ends, rebounding, defending and getting her hands on multiple loose balls. Her speed really stood out as she made quick and decisive moves off the dribble to get around defenders. When she couldn’t beat them off the dribble or help came, she just elevated above the defender and shot over them. She has committed to Davis and Elkins College. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="304882" first="Autumn" last="Edison"], 2025, Point Guard, Pikesville</strong> Autumn continued her strong defensive performances in another week of league play. She has been a menace to anyone trying to beat her off the dribble. She has quick hands and good eyes which leads to a lot of strips, steals and deflections in the passing lanes. She is an excellent on ball defender with strong footwork. She is growing into a solid point guard. <strong>Marley Helton, 2024, Guard, Pallotti </strong> Excellent defender with solid footwork. Very active on ball defender with good help instincts. Good touch around the basket and she kept beating her defender with a long and explosive first step. Great length and speed. <strong>Gabby Clary, 2024, Wing, Pallotti</strong> Gabby is a versatile wing that looks like she will fill multiple roles for the Panthers this season. She has a good handle and good upper body strength which allows her to get good looks and finish through contact. <strong>Sydney Anthony, 2024, Guard, Pallotti</strong> Sydney is a pass first point guard but she can score from all three levels when necessary which allows her to hold down both guard spots seamlessly. Tough defender with quick hands which led to a lot of steals and deflections. <strong>Alicia Newell, 2024, Wing, Pallotti</strong> Ms. Newell is one of my favorite players to watch. She has major athleticism and knows how to use it. She is very poised and fundamentally sound with a good IQ. Her length, active hands and footwork have her looking like she could be one of the top defenders in the area. She crashes the boards as well. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="238924" first="Amber" last="Perry"], 2024, Guard, Pallotti</strong> Super quick guard with solid ball handling skills and a nice feel for the game.
