2023 Rankings: Top Small Forwards

The Junior class rankings have been updated and we’ve had a big shakeup at the top and several new names and big movers. Here’s a look at the top ranked small forwards in the updated 2023 rankings. This article does not contain any of the players who were ranked in the top ten in the class. [player_tooltip player_id="158174" first="Destiny" last="Thomas"], McCracken County - Thomas missed her Sophomore season after an ACL tear and fell from the top 10 in our rankings but she's back now and working her way back up. One of the best athletic forwards in the class, Destiny should be in the mix for top player in the 1st region. [player_tooltip player_id="164394" first="Clara" last="Collins"], South Laurel - A recent reclass from 2022, Clara is a big wing who has battled through some injury woes in recent years. Collins should see the extra year help her recruiting if she can reach her potential and stay healthy. [player_tooltip player_id="199618" first="Keelee" last="King"], Rockcastle County - One of the state's best shooters, King should be one of the best players in the 12th region this season and have a chance to show that she's more than just a shooter. If Keelee can get to the free throw line more, she could be a top scorer in the area. [player_tooltip player_id="200347" first="Adylan" last="Ayer"], Daviess County - Adylan is a player who checks a lot of boxes as she can score on offense and is a reliable defender on the other end of the court. Ayer needs to become a more efficient scorer to elevate her game and she showed she can be a good playmaker at our Top 250 camp in September.
