Christiana Young has been making a splash at the high school level surpassing 2,000 points in her career.  She’s another guard who contributes on all areas of the stat sheet.  For example, this past season, she’s averaged 17 points a game, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.  She’s so dynamic getting to the hoop and drawing defenders towards her to open up the court for others.  She’s a three level scorer seeing the floor well knowing how to move to create space for herself or jump in the gaps for the open look.  One thing that always stands out to me when she plays is how much fun it seems like she is having playing at a high level of basketball.

Christiana Young has actually surpassed the 2000 point milestone.  She may be known as someone who handles the ball well facilitating offensive sets and making nice passes up the court to her teammates, but she can score from anywhere on the court herself.  While she can certainly handle the ball against anyone, she knows the importance of making quick passes to move the defense, and she relocates herself to get open for her own shot.  Her shot fakes always seem to get her opponents on their feet creating a path for her to go around easily.

Christiana Young Christiana Young 5'5" | PG Parkland | 2023 State NC will be playing with Parkland this year for her senior season.  She will bring a lot of leadership for her team finding ways to facilitate plays and take over leading by example when she is needed to.  She can score from anywhere on the court including driving hard to the basket to get some points no matter what kind of contact waits for her.  She can shoot it well from deep, too, and it’s no wonder she was able to get her 1000 point honor early in her high school career.
