Don’t be fooled by her size! This 5’3 point guard is a good athlete and no doubt provides the senior leadership for this team! Sharyiah accounted for 40 of her teams’ points! With 28 points and with 6 assists, with a wide-open 757, her team ranked number 10 in the area now is looking to stake their claim as one of the better teams!

I think we can say it’s about time that Grace is on this list! This scrappy do it all point guard puts pressure on teams with her elite on-ball defense. She’s also averaging 21 points 35% from three-point land 4 rebounds 4 steals and 4 assists per game! Only a junior you can tell her game is still developing let’s see how she can continue to lead her team this season!
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="255930" first="Takeira" last="Ramey"] Massaponax HS</b>

<span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Massaponax high school participated in the Thomas Dale holiday tournament where it was a matchup between two of the 24 class top 10 players! Takeira ranked number 7 and Prephoop‘s versus Mia ranked 1! Massaponax lead by Takeira Name tourney MVP averaging 14 points 5 assist 5 seats and 4 rebounds. Takeira was able to get the win and also lead her team to win the Thomas Dale tournament.</span>
<b style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Amani Melendez Woodbridge</b>
[caption id="attachment_367799" align="alignleft" width="200"]<img class="size-medium wp-image-367799" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/685CDDEE-0FED-4659-8A4A-EB965DB703B0-200x300.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /> Photo: Woodbridge HS[/caption]
This 5’9 physical big combo guard uses her size to her advantage. She can get the rebound and go coast to coast and score in transition. In a half quart set off a screen she gets downhill and is almost unstoppable. She had a big game against Flint Hill with 30 points leading her team to the win!
<b>
Peyton Ray Colgan</b>
[caption id="attachment_367801" align="alignleft" width="200"]<img class="size-medium wp-image-367801" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/38F646F7-242E-4F8B-A851-9F4C734FFDED-200x300.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /> Photo: Colgan[/caption]
A consistent player all year Peyton busted out big time against Garfield! The 5’9 senior had a school-record seven three-pointers on her way to 26 total points. Peyton also has a nice pull-up jumper where she stops on a dime to get her shot off. Payton is a good athlete and teams will have to game plan for this sharpshooter!
<b>
[player_tooltip player_id="255943" first="Quiana" last="Vazquez"] Salem </b>
<img class="size-medium wp-image-367815 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/3DE15170-A9F1-433A-82D2-2FE3228217E6-crop-637x419-1640198760-300x197.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />
A true combo guard but it looks like she’s primarily handling the point guard duties for Salem. At 5’7 is very athletic and has a burst with her dribble drive action. Has been playing the distributor role early on the season but she did have 22 points and six steals to lead her team in a win over Green Run.
<b style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">
Jenesis Hill Landstown</b>
<img class="size-medium wp-image-367809 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/8F26969A-AD23-4B03-83DD-F6E79D55B1ED-crop-640x421-1640198119-300x197.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />
<span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Watch out! Athletic guard alert! Only a Junior, Jenesis is 5’9 still looks like she still growing and getting it done! She gets after it on the defensive end with her ball-hawking ability. It looks like you can put her in 1-3 position and she can just produce! She put up 27 points 11 rebounds and 6 steals. Interesting to see how she develops it looks like she has all the physical attributes to get better!</span>
