There was a ton of great high school basketball action all across the state last night. Well go from east to west and north to south in Michigan and give you some of the top Tuesday player performances. Be on the lookout for Part 2 as well!
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244259" first="Riley" last="Abney"] (2024, SG, Brandon)</strong>
Abney has brought her A game all year so far and she did once again last night. She’s one of the top young scorers in the state and backed that up last night, scoring 30 points in a win over Kearsley.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="190707" first="Autumn" last="Bartlett"] (2022, PG, Farmington)</strong>
Bartlett turned heads in a dominating 62-19 win over Oak Park. She had a game high 18 points and played a very efficient and smart game the entire way through.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189288" first="Kennedy" last="Blair"] (2023, SG, Divine Child)</strong>
Blair deserves more mention among the top guards in her class. She has proven to be a top notch bucket getter on a nightly basis this season. Last night she led her her team with 26 points in a victory over Marian.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="281850" first="Jade" last="Blanchard"] (2024, SF, Marine City)</strong>
Marine City built a 6 game winning streak with the 62-24 win against Fraser last night. Blanchard played off contact all night, scoring a hard fought 18 points in the game.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="188582" first="Macy" last="Brown"] (2023, PG, East Grand Rapids)</strong>
Brown is a must see player in the state of Michigan. East Grand Rapids secured a tough win over Grand Rapids Catholic Central by a score 52-41. Brown and her superior shooting led the way. She ended the night with 25 points.
<strong>Trinity Brown (2022, PF, Roseville)</strong>
Roseville picked up a huge win over Lake Shore by a score of 48-45. Brown was critical in the win, finishing with a team high 18 points all while adding 14 rebounds and 5 steals.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178865" first="Sophie" last="Canen"] (2022, SG, Saline)</strong>
Saline posted a huge 74-24 win over Walled Lake Western last night and Canen led the charges. She finished with a game high 33 points. Canen has been steadily improving since the beginning of the summer.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="190706" first="Mary" last="Copple"] (2023, PG, Brighton)</strong>
Copple has been on a tear since the summer and has put herself amongst the best guards in the state. Last night she led her team to 55-34 win over Canton. Copple had 18 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147747" first="Brooke" last="Daniels"] (2022, PG, L’Anse Creuse North)</strong>
Daniels is an elite playmaker on both ends and that was on display last night in a solid win over Port Huron. She had 21 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 steals.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244267" first="Summer" last="Davis"] (2024, PG, West Bloomfield)</strong>
West Bloomfield looked excellent in a 80-65 win against Clarkston. Davis was the leader in the offensive explosion, going off for 31 points. She didn’t just score, but did it in a variety of ways.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="230800" first="Kylie" last="Heck"] (2023, SG, Lake Orion)</strong>
Heck is an impressive player and she was huge in the 49-35 victory against a tough Berkley squad. The versatile star scored a team high 16 points on the night.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147796" first="Markayla" last="Holland"] (2022, CG, Waterford Kettering)</strong>
Holland was terrific in her team’s tight overtime victory against a game Milford squad. Holland went off for a game high 36 points. She was basically unstoppable at times offensively last night.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147716" first="Abbey" last="Kimball"] (2022, PG, West Catholic)</strong>
West Catholic picked up a big win over Reeths-Puffer by a score of 58-44. Kimball showed why she’s a top notch prospect on a national scale. She got it done defensively while also adding 19 points.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="186364" first="Alexandra" last="Kolnitys"] (2022, PG, Midland Dow)</strong>
Midland Dow continued their dominant start, showing why they are considered one of the top teams in the state. Kolnitys has been the head of the snake all year and that continued in last nights win over Alpena. She finished the game with 18 points and a handful of rebounds.
<strong>Macey Laubach (2022, PF, Edwardsburg)</strong>
I’m getting really used to writing Laubach’s name. She led her team to a 72-59 victory against Mattawan. Laubach finished with 22 points and 5 steals.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="230802" first="Sela" last="Lefler"] (2023, PG, North Farmington)</strong>
Lefler controlled the action in a big conference win against Bloomfield Hills. She got it done on both ends of the floor, tallying 22 points and getting 6 steals.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189315" first="Megan" last="Leslie"] (2023, SG, Greenville)</strong>
Leslie, in my opinion, is very underrated. She can flat out shoot and has a high basketball IQ. These were evident in her team’s 40-39 win over Comstock Park. Leslie finished the game with 19 points.
