During her senior season, she became the Lady Dragons’ all-time leading scorer and rebounder while earning 8th Region Player of the Year honors and recognition as a Kentucky Miss Basketball candidate. Young will continue her athletic and academic career at Illinois State University, joining a program with a rich tradition that includes six NCAA Tournament appearances and 12 Missouri Valley Conference championships.

Top 2026 forward Madison Young Madison Young 5'9" | PF South Oldham | 2026 State KY is off to a terrific start this season. She averaging a 24.2 points and 9.5 rebounds a game in her junior campaign. Madison flexed her muscle against North Bullitt on Thursday, finishing with 23 points and ripped away a team-high 12 rebounds in a close won 68-66.

She has picture perfect footwork on the block and displayed incredible strength when scoring through contact inside. I was also impressed with her handles and ability to put the ball on the floor and beat defenders off the dribble.
