The South Oldham standout is a fundamentally sound shooter who understands how to play within a team concept while stretching the floor offensively. Coupled with an outstanding 4.36 GPA, Brickey continues to prove she excels both on the hardwood and in the classroom, making her an attractive prospect for college programs looking for high-character student-athletes.

Brynn was absolutely on fire throughout the weekend. She established herself as one of the premier three-point shooters in the tournament, knocking down shots off the catch with consistency. What made her even tougher to guard was her ability to attack closeouts and finish while scoring effectively at all three levels. Played solid on defense and was a key contributor for a team with tremendous success. 

Brynn has hit the ground running this AAU season and is showing why she’s one of the best pure scorers in the 2027 class. She lit it up at the Prime Events South, consistently getting to her spots and producing at a high level on the offensive end. Brynn averaged 22 points per game while going 17-for-36 from three, helping Lexington Crossover 17U to a 3–1 record on the weekend.

She finished as the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging 18.8 points per game. A true sharpshooter, Brickey knocked down 39% from deep while making close to three triples per game, and she capitalized at the stripe as well, shooting an efficient 82%. She also surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career. She continues to elevate her game each year and will look to make the most of her final AAU season with Lexington Crossover 17U.

Brynn is an elite outside shooter who forces defenses to extend far beyond the arc. But she is far more than just a perimeter threat. She attacks closeouts, gets downhill, and consistently finds ways to get to the free throw line. Her motor never slows down and she makes impact plays for four quarters. Brynn is averaging 18.4 ppg while leading her team in free throw attempts, free throws made, and three point baskets. When the moment is big, she is ready for it!

Brynn put together a pair of impressive performances last week, opening with 27 points, seven steals, six rebounds, and five assists against Conner, then following it up with 25 points, four rebounds, and three assists versus North Hardin. Along the way, she also reached the 1,000-point milestone for her career. (Featured Image)

She did a great job chasing down her own miss and converting the second chance opportunity. Made an impact on the boards despite being all of 5’8″; aggressive from the guard spot to compete on the glass against much taller players. Her energy level stood out to me; a motor that just kept on going and going.

Brynn was BALLIN at The Classic! Whether it was catch-and-shoot threes, dropping dimes, creating her own shot off the dribble, or making hustle plays she did it all. Brynn went off for a whopping 46 points in Game 2 against Cincy Swish and was a marksman from the outside connecting on 8 triples! Very impressed with her overall performance and her growth as player was evident.

Brynn is having a fantastic season for the Lady Dragons, averaging 16 points per game for a tough South Oldham team. Overall, Brickey has to be in the top 25 in scoring for Sophomores, statewide. Her numbers are bound to improve as her three point shooting percentages are trending up, lately.
