Scoring 1000 plus points or breaking school records is no easy feat in a typical four year varsity career, but these players are making history through even more difficult times.
2022 6’2 SF Drea Brumfield Drea Brumfield 6'2" | SF WF West | 2022 State #72 Nation WA of WF West High School has broken her school’s record eclipsing the 1161 career point mark previously held. The Pepperdine signee may have broken this mark in her junior year had she been able to play a full season plus a deep playoff run, but her name is in the history books nonetheless. Brumfield’s legacy could be perfectly capped off with a 2A state title and she will look to lead her squad to those heights as the season winds down in the next month and a half.
2022 5’5 PG Iliana Moran Iliana Moran 5'5" | CG Hanford | 2022 State WA from Hanford High School recently passed the 1000 point scoring mark. Moran has been a real impact player from day one and unlike Brumfield, is still available in recruitment. Moran is crafty, competitive and skilled with the ball in her hands. She will definitely keep pushing the envelope and raising her career scoring total with each game that goes by.
