Stock Risers in the 2024 Rankings Update

The 2022 state championship will be decided within the next two weeks! It’s already been some upsets and dark horse teams peaking at the right time! Here are some 2024 stock risers that may be on that playoff push! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="296737" first="Keira" last="Scott"] 6’1  Wing Bishop O’Connell </strong> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">4 to 2</span> A very versatile player who had to play a lot of power forward this season for her school. She already has the physical look and has a college frame. She can do multiple things on the open floor. She has a nice jump shot as well, I’m expecting some more growth during AAU season this year! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="260613" first="Sadie" last="Shores"] 5’9 CG Woodgrove HS</strong> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">11 to 7</span> As a sophomore Sadie is no doubt the leader of this team! She is the leading scorer and is a key reason why Woodgrove is 26-0! She has expanded multiple parts in her game. Her size makes it easy to score at the rim with either hand off the dribble. She has carried over her momentum from AAU right to high school. A very crafty player that can score, she lead her in scoring this season. You can see her game has matured and she has got stronger. It's looking like with her fast development she will have a great AAU season ahead of her! &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="299992" first="Chloe" last="Beddingfield"] 5’11 Wing Princess Anne HS</strong> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">21 to 16</span> [caption id="attachment_296403" align="alignleft" width="300"]<img class="size-medium wp-image-296403" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/06/IMG_1699-crop-898x590-1623339925-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /> Photo: Princess Anne[/caption] With the departure of two of the top players in the state, Chloe had to go from role player to leader! She lead the team in scoring and this program didn’t miss a beat going 17-1 on the season! Chloe has a really good skill set and is a little raw so that means her upside has gotten better with responsibility and playing time from this season! &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="312087" first="Desirae" last="Ashton"] 6’1 PF Bishop Ireton</strong> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">27 to 20</span> <img class="size-medium wp-image-394881 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/5F22700B-5833-4BE9-A324-52863C414869-200x300.jpeg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /> Desirae made the jump from public to private school and it has paid off. Very long athletic looks with her body type she can play wing but is a for now power-forward. She had some growing pains but she was able to post double-double's versus some good competition. She has a good bounce on the defensive end with makes her hard to score on. Already with an offer, she will most likely come into her own these next two years! &nbsp;
