About Kennison
Expert Analysis
Michael Herrick | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Azure averages an awe-inspiring 19.3 ppg for the Thunder. Kennison has the ability to score in multiple ways, mainly finishing at the rim and in the post as of now this season. The best part of her offensive game is getting to the basket and finishing the possession. Azure finishes/scores with her right & left hand down low. Kennison is a deadly offensive weapon because she is able to score from anywhere on the court and she creates matchup issues. She has the size & strength to post up smaller/quicker defenders and when teams put a bigger defender on her she is able to beat them off the bounce and get to the basket. Kennison is a very good mid-range to 3-point shooter, so if teams take away her drive she can knock down outside shots. Her court vision, game knowledge, and passing also make her hard to guard, and a great player.

Kennison is a solid post that is able to stretch the floor with her three point shooting. She has a nice, fluid form and makes it difficult for teams to pack the paint in against Hatton/Northwood. Kennison was an All-State selection last season and will likely return to that list this season. She did a nice job of playing with fellow post Elizabeth Pinke Elizabeth Pinke 6'0" | PF/C Hatton-Northwood | 2026 State ND . She made timely passes and put pressure on Cavalier’s defense by crashing the glass. Kennison will have a great senior season.
