Alli was a Miss Basketball Finalist and finished her high school career as a state champion. She knocked down a triple against Frankenmuth, scoring six points with five rebounds. In the finals, Alli sealed her defenders with good footwork inside to score layups and put the game on ice down the stretch with a perfect 8/8 from the charity stripe. Alli moved her feet well on the perimeter to cut off drive attempts on defense and disrupted entry passes into the low post. She led the team with 14 points and secured five rebounds. Alli has an opportunity to contribute immediately to Eastern Michigan and will have quite the cheering section at the George Gervin Center next season!

Alli has led the Tecumseh Indians to basketball royalty the past two years and will graduate as the best scorer in school history. Tecumseh knocked off state-champion Lansing Catholic to win the regional championship last year, have secured two straight district titles, and consecutive SEC championships for the first time in school history. Alli has led the turnaround, becoming the all-time leading scorer with over 1,500 points, while setting records for 3-pointers and free throws made in a career. Alli has been Lenawee County Player of the Year twice, SEC First-Team 3 times, 1st Team All-State 2023-2024, and is a Miss Basketball Finalist. This season, Alli leads the Indians in scoring with 14.9 points per game (60% FG), while averaging six rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks per contest. Her versatility to score inside using various post moves and effectively knockdown perimeter jumpers is a catch-22 for defenders. Tecumseh finished 21-1 (10-0 SEC-White) with statement wins against Temperance Bedford, Detroit Edison, Chelsea, Lumen Christi, Detroit Renaissance, and Northville. They are the favorite to challenge Gabriel Richard in the playoffs. Alli will be joining Eastern Michigan University after graduation.

Zajac added an Akron offer to her list. Let’s be real, a MAC program that offers this star is doing something right. Anybody that loves good basketball, basketball with smart passes, ball movement and spacing will love to watch her play. Zajac is a high IQ player and a student of the game.

Zajac’s Michigan Premier team has played some really excellent basketball this summer and she’s been a huge part of that. It feels like Zajac could put up 20 a game with ease, but instead she plays the game the right way and prioritizes winning. In fact, once again this weekend, it was her passing and vision that probably impressed the most.

Zajac was dominant on both ends of the court at The Select Super Showcase on day two. She has impressive footwork around the rim and a keen eye to find the open shooter when she draws multiple defenders. She can handle the rock and will take a defensive rebound coast to coast. Alli’s recruitment has seen an uptick this spring and summer, and I’m excited to see where she will choose to take her talent at the next level.
