Delaney demonstrated time and time again on Sunday during live play why she is one of the best young PGs in her class in the state of Michigan! A sturdy, strong, and confident PG who knows how to handle the ball and get to her spots with ease. Outstanding ballhandler versus pressure who also moves without the ball to get open. Great timing and feel on her jump shot from deep! Very crafty and impressive finisher at the rim, it’s very hard to throw her off balance! She is also a stellar defender who really buys-in and plays physical on that end of the floor. Delaney clearly separated herself out there on the floor during the 2026 Iron Sharpens Iron Elite Girls Basketball Experience!

Delaney showed a well-rounded game throughout the Mystics Open Run, making an impact as both a scorer and playmaker. During 3-on-3 action, she knocked down a three-pointer and carried that shooting touch into 5-on-5 play, where she continued to connect from the perimeter. Delaney also showed tight ball-handling skills, allowing her to create space and navigate through pressure, while her court vision and passing ability helped her find teammates for scoring opportunities. Defensively, she was a pesky presence who stayed active and made things difficult for opposing guards. Her combination of shooting, ball skills, playmaking, and defensive pressure gave her plenty of ways to contribute.

After Haslett led most of the first half, Tecumseh took the lead, before Haslett split their free throws to make it a one point game. With only seconds remaining in the second quarter, I think everyone expected the score to stay that way heading into the break. Delaney had other plans. After Bullinger secured the missed free throw, she fired a lead pass to Delaney flying up the sidelines. She fired a runner off one foot from the wing as the buzzer sounded, which found the bottom of the net, giving Tecumseh a 31-27 lead at the half. Her shot deflated the opponent, sent the crowd into a frenzy, and completely swung the momentum in Tecumseh’s favor. Delaney generated steals on the defensive end and stood tough inside to take a charge on a hard drive. She beat the full court press and dished out an assist to help put the game away late.

Brown is a rising combo guard who possesses big offensive upside for the Indians. She was asked to log heavy minutes for Tecumseh in the 2026 Classic In The Country Challenge and didn’t disappoint! Brown showed off her ability to facilitate the ball with three assists in the game and also demonstrated her pure shooting stroke hitting a three-pointer during the contest! She also showed great hustle and demonstrated that she has the potential to become an elite pressure defender at the guard position as she forced one steal in the game. As Brown continues to grow and develop her game she should greatly improve and begin turning head all throughout the state of Michigan!

Delaney is a phenomenal 2029 prospect and she made a strong statement about her value as a college prospect with Tecumseh today at the Holiday Classic. Her fast lateral footwork and perimeter pressure kept shifty ball-handlers in a box. She scanned the court with keen vision and threw a great lob pass in transition over the top to a sprinting teammate for an assist. Delaney buried a smooth triple from the corner, converted free throws at the line, and created separation using a speedy crossover spin combination to score a drive-by layup. Delaney’s determination, compact build, and hustle made her an effective rebounder. She poured in 10 points with six rebounds in a big win for the defending champs.

She is so quick with the ball in her hands, will take you to the rim with her ball handling skills. She processes the game as it happens and is able to pick apart a defense with her court vision. She explodes downhill and is not afraid of contact.

Delaney was a top performer at the PGH Freshman Showcase, bringing the kind of energy and effort every coach looks for. The lefty guard played with grit and determination, doing all the little things that impact the game—diving for loose balls, battling on defense, and staying active on every possession. She handled the ball well under pressure and stretched the floor by knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc. Her scrappy defensive presence and all-around hustle made her a key contributor throughout the day.

Delaney was a top performer for Team 7 at the PGH Freshman Showcase, going on an impressive scoring run during the 3v3 session and showing her ability to take over a game. She handled the ball with poise, creating space and opportunities for herself. Her shooting was a highlight, as she knocked down multiple threes throughout the day with confidence and consistency.
