About Ashley
Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Ashley quietly dominated in the biggest moments. She drilled multiple deep, contested threes, scored off strong takes including a lefty scoop, and added a tough midrange jumper off a screen. Beyond scoring, she secured offensive rebounds, drew fouls, delivered a huge transition block while up four, and calmly hit clutch free throws late. Her poise and even-keeled demeanor allowed her to put up major numbers without forcing the action — a special performance.

Ashley controlled the game in multiple ways, starting with her dominance on the glass. She consistently extended possessions and finished defensive stops with rebounds which set the tone for TC. Offensively, she played unselfish basketball all night, repeatedly making the extra pass and keeping the offense flowing. One of her biggest moments came with a clutch three late in the half that gave TC momentum heading into the break. When she looked to score off the bounce, her ability to drive left and rise into a pull-up jumper proved unguardable and was a key factor in TC taking control.

showed why she was one of the top prospects in the building. The small forward is elite and has ability to change the complete momentum of a game with her scoring versatility. At the Christmas Invitational, Knox displayed a polished midrange game with a smooth turnaround jumper and caught fire from the perimeter — knocking down multiple threes in succession. Knox’s ability to score at multiple levels and seize momentum hi lighted her skillset and level of play. She was definitely one of the top ballers in the building.

Ashley always impressed with her combination of size, skill, and overall feel for the game. With her team’s starting point guard out, she drew a face guard and still found ways to impact the game or take attention away and let others shine. Ashley is a versatile hooper who can play multiple positions in the lineup and create matchup problems. She has good form on her shot and can put up points in a hurry when she gets going.

Ashley impressed with her combination of size, strength, and shooting touch. She knocked down shots from deep and used good footwork and a smooth spin move to create inside opportunities. Her body control and balance stood out as she consistently played at a steady, composed pace. One of the top uncommitted prospects from Florida, she continues to show a polished and college-ready game.

is a high-level recruit, and one of her best attributes is her ability to shoot the three-ball with no hesitation or fear. If she has the space to get her shot off, she will let it fly—and not only does she shoot it, but she also makes it at a high percentage. As a 6-foot scorer, there are very few defenders she can’t shoot over. Her added physicality while handling the ball has also improved her ability to create her shot off the dribble, making her a versatile three-level scorer.

came out on fire from behind the three-point line in her matchup against Essence, knocking down 3 of her first 5 attempts. But that wasn’t all—she also showcased her ball-handling skills and ability to get to the rim, proving she’s a true three-level scorer.

It’s not easy to move up in the rankings when you are already in the Top 15 of the state, but Ashley has done just that after scoring 16.5 ppg this season. She arguably has the best frame in the class, and is (and should be) a massive target for college coaches at every level. Ashley is a three-level scorer that can put up points in a hurry with her shooting ability, size and strength to get to the rim, and clean pull-up jumper with a high release. Her bag and her handles are ever-evolving, so I have no doubt she can climb these rankings even more.

This was my first time being able to sit and really watch Ashley play, and I was certainly not disappointed. The 5’11 small forward moves like a guard and has a college build to go with it. She displayed elite athleticism in transition weaving by defenders and finishing strong in the paint through traffic and contact. When Tampa Catholic fed her the ball on the elbow or wing and cleared out, Ashley was able to get to the rim with an explosive first step and showcased her ability to hit the pull-up jumper from midrange. Ashley spaced the floor well, hitting open and contested threes while commanding so much attention it created opportunities for her teammates. Her game is smooth and fun to watch.
