Maggie consistently played with effort and toughness throughout the game while also showing confidence offensively. Her three-ball looked smooth coming off her hand, and she mixed that in with strong drives where she got to two feet and finished plays with strength and balance. Defensively, she made multiple hustle plays, including a transition deflection and a save along the sideline that resulted in possession for her team after throwing it off her opponent. She also knocked down a runner to close the half and competed hard from start to finish in every game. Maggie has boosted her stock in my eyes over the course of this spring/summer travel ball season.

Maggie debuts right around the Top 100 players in the state and is a prospect who should continue to climb. She is one of the best shooters in her class and owns one of the cleanest shooting forms you’ll see at this level. Maggie has a quick release, consistently holds her follow-through, and keeps her eyes locked on the rim. She shows strong footwork coming off screens to get into her shot and is comfortable scoring on the move or off the dribble. Beyond her shooting, she can use her handle to get to the rim and does a great job protecting the ball in traffic, making her a tough and efficient offensive weapon.

Magdalynn Higgins Magdalynn Higgins 5'8" | SG/CG North Tampa Christian | 2028 State FL has one of the best shooting forms I’ve seen. She shoots the ball the same way every time, holds her follow through, and keeps her eyes on the rim, especially on catch and shoot opportunities. She has a quick release and shows strong footwork coming off screens to get into her shot.

This has led to her averaging 19.8 PPG this season, with at least seven games scoring 20 or more points and at least 10 games with three or more made three pointers. Higgins has a high ceiling and can continue this trend as one of the top scorers in Class 1A, in her class overall, and in her area.
