Ellamay Cooper
The 2027 guard showed a great deal of poise in her Team Wisconsin’s matchup against North Tartan. Cooper played up in 14u and looked like she belonged with the talented kids Tartan threw at her. Every time they threw multiple bodies at her, she always had a way to wiggle out of trouble and make a play. Although she’s only a seventh grader, she’s talented for sure.
Kelly Boinski
The 5-foot-9 can flip a game on its head in a few possessions. Her team looks for her to shoot, and she runs around to find those open pockets of space. Her movement off the ball makes her deadly, and she has enough poise to attack with the ball. She’s as dynamic of an offensive threat I know of in the 2026 class.
Avery Blue
There aren’t many kids I’ve seen as confident as Blue with the ball. You can tell she’s worked on her ability to create space. Every step-back jumper looked the same, and she made most of the ones she attempted. I like her confidence and think she has room to grow. You can see the hours she puts into her game with how repeatable everything she does is. She must’ve worked on that step back for hours on end.
Samantha Davis
I did not see Davis’ best all-around game today, but the signs she showed were nothing short of fantastic. She’s an athletic wing with size and has a good jumper. She has to see the floor better because I think she could lead an offense. That said, she’s a talented kid with the skill to score from everywhere on the floor.
Riley Keterhagen
Keterhagen had a solid showing on both ends on Friday. She was aggressive on the defensive end and forced a handful of on-ball turnovers. Keterhagen has a good jumper and a high release. I think she’ll be a solid piece at Oostburg and productive this coming season.
Ellie Buss
The 2026 guard was good with the ball today. She didn’t make many mistakes and showed she could hit perimeter jumpers. The more she sees exotic defenses, the more information she’ll retain. She’s a young guard who needs the experience against the top teams. Over time, I think she has a chance to be an excellent lead guard.
Lydia Aalsma Lydia Aalsma 5'10" | SG Waupun | 2025 State WI
I loved Aalsma’s ability to create. The Waupun native was confident and secure with the ball. The 5-foot-9 guard’s jumper may not have a lot of lift, but she gets it off quickly and doesn’t need much space. I loved what she did for her Flight team. She looked like the best player on the floor for long stretches.
Ella Francois Ella Francois 5'7" | PG West De Pere | 2025 State WI
Whenever Flight needed a basket, Francois seemed like she came up with a big 3-pointer or created something off the dribble. I’ve been a fan of her since I watched her play against Xavier for West De Pere. She has the ball a string and knocks down long-range jumpers with ease. She has all the makings of an elite high school point guard.
Alexa Kinas Alexa Kinas 5'8" | CG Kaukauna | 2024 State WI
The Kaukauna guard is one of the quickest kids in isolation. I love her ability to create something out of nothing. Her jumper looks smooth and repeatable, and her court vision is at a high level. Defensively, Kinas is active and finds the ball more often than not. Kinas is one of the best guards in the 2024 class in Wisconsin.
Carly Drew Carly Drew 5'8" | CG Westfield | 2024 State WI
The Westfield Pioneer was the most influential guard in her team’s matchup. Every time there was a loose ball, Drew seemed to rip the ball away. The Westfield native also had a great showing offensively. She showed off her jumper and her aggression in attacking the basket. I love what Drew showed today.
