The big guard is a jack of all trades. Andrea has great strength and a high IQ. She handles the ball well and can breakdown defenders when attacking the basket. Guilford can drive and dish to open shooters and plays with a low center of gravity. Andrea is a stat sheet stuffer that impacts games even when not scoring. Her defense and rebounding are advanced areas of her game.

The incoming freshman has a chance to set records at New Manchester. She’s physically mature, patiently working with the ball before putting her head down and turning corners to get to the bucket. She’s already stronger than most guards and plays with great balance. Guilford has the ability to fill up box scores in other ways than just scoring. Don’t be surprised if the GameChanger finishes with multiple triple-doubles in her career.

Guilford is a force every time she steps on the floor. A player that just does it all and leaves the wow factor when your watching her. Her ability to stop on a dime and knock down numerous triples is what stood out most. If you crowd her space she has the ability to get to the rim and score through contact. Also her ability to pressure and create turnovers which lead to some easy scoring opportunities in transition. She will be in the running for one of the top players in her class and one of the top players in the state this upcoming season.

Andrea is one of the freshmen that will be ready to see varsity action on day one. She has the height, frame, and strength to bully other perimeter players. She is quick with the ball in her hands and a good decision maker. She has great mechanics on her catch and shoot jumpers which she used outside and inside of the arc. She brings toughness to the floor as well and embraces the opportunity to match up against other players both young and old. 

Guilford just keeps getting better every time she steps on the court. A player that plays well beyond her age and has played up with her 2024 Team Nite Nite team on the circuit this past summer. She is a player that can score at all 3 levels and plays tough on both ends of the floor. Rebounds well for her size. Her quick hands on defense allowed her to create a lot of turnovers which led to easy scoring opportunities on the day. Her ability to shoot the 3 ball, hit the mid range and attack the basket keeps her defenders guessing her next move. Look for her to have a breakout freshman campaign this upcoming season.
