Her drives were on point. Her shots were falling. Her defense was great. Oh, and her overall game shined through in all five games. Consistently. She came and balled out. After a summer spent in the weight room, she showed off and everything looked nice. In fact, [player_tooltip player_id='342234' first='Olivia' last='Bolduc'] carried the only bragging rights over Maxwell. She was just a little more on point from behind the arc. Regardless, Maxwell penetrated into the lane and scored when she wanted, too. Drive after drive after drive. There were times when she beat everyone and there were times when she needed a little english or acrobatics, but the result was the same - points-points-points. Making her day even better? Her poise when she wasn't scoring and handled her point guard duties. In a word, she was "smooth." Try saying that about any other point guard, but Bolduc and you that would be difficult. Finding open teammates and making sure they could handle her passes or finish in the paint looked natural as she added her basketball IQ alongside her scoring prowess for coaches to see. Together, along with a killer strain of defense, it really isn't any wonder why she should leave the Top 250 Expo with her confidence through the roof - She came, saw, and largely conquered.

Sadaya Jones, Fairmont Senior, W, So, 5-8 - Business as usual. It isn't just an approach in the office, but on the court as well. See Jones during the Top 250 Expo as an example. Surrounded by neither WPA Bruins nor Morgantown teammates for the first time in a while, Jones wasted little time going to work. Almost none. If you want the complete truth, she hit the floor with a smile on her face and a fire in her heart. And it stayed that way all afternoon. Down low on the block for much of the day, she consistently looked like someone who had improved from her AAU ball over the summer and was finally over the freshman jitters. Kind of. There were still times when she tried to do too much and needed to calm down and let the game come to her. But for the most part, she trusted in her abilities and enjoyed a strong showing. Her ballhandling is much improved in traffic. She's becoming more patient at letting her inside game develop. And she's starting to realize she's bigger than many of the other girls on the floor, and she can use that to her advantage. Overall, everything added up to a great day in the gym for the rising freshman.

[player_tooltip player_id='496348' first='Kennedy' last='Stewart'], Greenbrier East, PG, Fr., 5-2 - The often-smallest kid on the floor didn't often play like the smallest kid on the floor. Not at all. In a precursor of what Greenbrier East opponents will face this upcoming season, Stewart brought her A game all afternoon. In the midst of experience high school players, she stayed cool. In a situation where she could have crumbled, she excelled. If you were an on looker, you may think she's already comfortable playing amongst the older players. She wasn't completely there, yet. But much, much closer than many people may think. On top of her poise, she showed a maturity her ornery nature off the court doesn't always bring out. Instead of a fun-loving kid, she attacked. Over and over, again.
