This kid is the ultimate game-changer! Kennedy moves up to the 3rd spot in our final rankings. Stewart is the floor general that controls the game at all times. Kennedy scored over 1,500 points in her high school career. She can score the ball with ease. She facilitates the ball at an extremely high level. We can’t say enough about what Stewart brings to any court she plays on. WV Wesleyan is getting one of the best guards in the state!

Stewart led her team in scoring and assists in the win over Keyser. Kennedy netted 20 points and added 4 assists. Stewart shot 50% from the field. She also went 4-7 from long range. This athlete is electric. She plays with so much fire on both sides of the ball. She hit a beautiful buzzer beater. She also netted numerous 3’s with one being from behind the logo. Stewart is one of the best guards in the state. She continues to shine on the court. I love her play making and passing ability. Kennedy had two quick assists in the first 50 seconds of the game. Kennedy can heat up at any given moment. She has been called a “Stephen Curry esque player” by numerous people. Stewart continues to control the tempo of the game, and she plays at a high level! This senior is going to lead her team to Charleston!

Stewart continues to put up big time numbers every game! Greenbrier East has started the season off hot, and Kennedy continues to lead them! She continues to light it up from behind the 3 point line. Stewart has a nice, quick release and she does not need much space to get her shot off. One of Kennedy’s top scoring games was against a tough Woodrow Wilson squad. She poured in 28 points, knocking down eight 3-pointers. This one continues to do it all on the court to help her team win. Keep your eyes on Kennedy and Greenbrier East the rest of this season.

Can we start with saying that WV Wesleyan is getting an absolute STUD?! Stewart is dominant, talented, and she knows how to control an offense. She poured in over 30 points against a tough Nitro squad to help her team come out on top. Kennedy continues to be one of the toughest guards on the court at all times. She plays with physicality and her time in the weight room shows. Stewart is one of the best scorers in the state!

If you watched Kennedy throughout her high school career, you know that she is a next level athlete. Pat Summitt once stated, “Winning is fun…Sure. But winning is not the point. Wanting to win is the point. Not giving up is the point. Never letting up is the point. Never being satisfied with what you’ve done is the point.” Stewart is the guard that never quits. She never gives up. She has a will power to win and compete against anyone. This one is going to have an outstanding senior season. After high school, she will be taking her talents to West Virginia Wesleyan!

Stewart is one of the best at her position. Most of the athletes ahead of her are post players. Stewart moved up from the 10th spot to the 6th spot. I won’t be surprised if Kennedy continues to work her way up in the top 5. She continues to play at the highest level. Stewart will continue to trust the process, and I have no doubt that numerous offers are going to roll in for this one! She has the natural instincts, and the competitive fire that can’t be taught!

Stewart continues to play at a high level. She played great in the first live session, and she continues to lead at Lakepoint! Offensively, Kennedy does a great job getting downhill. She has a great change of direction. She can change direction quickly, and explode to the rim. She knows how to draw contact and finish through it! You can try to press Stewart, but she knows how to split defenders with her excellent ball-handling, and her high IQ. She has excellent court vision, and she will find her open teammates. Coach Frese said it best, “How to spot a PG? When the defense throws on a press, see who runs towards the ball.” Stewart is the point guard that you want on your squad! She continues to lead, and all college coaches need to pull up a seat to watch Kennedy and the WV Thunder Rise team! Check out her junior highlights below:

Kennedy is a leader that every team would love to have on their side! She continues to do whatever it takes to see her team win. Greenbrier East has started the first half of the season undefeated and this feature isn’t possible without Stewart! She tallied 21 points and 3 steals in a win over Pikeview. She poured in 17 points in a win over Princeton. She continues to score in double figures. I am not surprised by her scoring. She attacks downhill harder than most. She gets to her spot at ease. She is the true extension of a coach on the floor! I love guards that play with passion and a fire that can’t be taught!
