The last thing I want to do regarding the PGH Iowa Top 250 event is to highlight a few kids to watch this season and beyond. These kids are in different places in their development but should have tabs kept on them.

[player_tooltip player_id='502230' first='Delanee' last='Seay']

I liked how well-rounded Seay's game was at Kingdom. She never forced anything but was effective in a situation meant to make her uncomfortable. In particular, I liked how she defended guards on the perimeter. Seay did an excellent job of taking away space for opposing guards to operate. I think the incoming freshman will earn minutes at Prairie based on her effort defensively. She has more to offer, but that will give her a springboard.

[player_tooltip player_id='502232' first='Keaonna' last='Worley']

Worley is a class of 2027 guard, but that didn't stop her from finding ways to be effective. She kept things simple, and that helped her out. Worley didn't try to force anything, the rising eighth grader made simple plays, and that's what people will notice who matter. She operates like a player who belongs on the floor with talented players.

[player_tooltip player_id='638015' first='Maryne' last='Szalo']

Players who stand out to me are the ones who make winning plays. Scoring 30 can win games, but not everyone can do that. What Szalo did, was create extra possessions for her team. She fought on the boards, dove on the floor for loose balls, and attempted to save balls from going out of bounds. Coaches love that. The more she does it, the more she'll play at Waukee.

[player_tooltip player_id='424439' first='Ellie' last='Daubenmier']

I got to see Daubenmier this past AAU season a handful of times, so I was excited to see her play again at Kingdom Courts. She moves well and can defend multiple positions. She didn't show it last weekend, but she can score from everywhere. I like how she doesn't settle offensively and constantly looks for the best shot for herself and her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='314100' first='Yazmeen' last='Whitsitt']

The Decorah junior is one of my favorite guards in Iowa. She is quick and has a pass-first mentality. She can score at all three levels with her jumper, floater, and the first step to beat her initial defender to get the basket. She fights for position and doesn't shy away from contact at the rim. Whitsitt and teammate [player_tooltip player_id='63021' first='Bryar' last='Duwe'] fit each other's games well, and I expect they'll continue to find success together this coming season.
