She was a problem on both ends of the floor as she posted deep and finished in the paint and at the cup thru contact. She was also very strong, with a lot of activity on the offensive boards that resulted in a lot of put-backs. Defensively she challenges shots and showed a willingness to step out and guard in space. She is a versatile player on both ends, but it really can be seen on the offensive end where she can space the floor with the trey ball as well as put it on the floor and create her shot. I believe, from what I saw at camp, there is a next step that Lindsey can take with her game, and it has a lot to do with continuing to work on putting the ball on the floor and being a playmaker off the bounce.

Lindsey has good positional size and was a dominant factor in the paint.
Terry J. She showed her versatility as she can handle the rock, score in bunches, and be a floor general if needed. To be one of the younger players in camp, she played with a lot of energy, effort, and confidence and even had an edge about her game. She shot the ball exceptionally well from beyond the arc, which makes her a considerable threat as she can also put it on the floor if defenders run her off the line. Andrea flashed moments of being a potential elite player multiple times, which makes her an intriguing prospect to keep an eye on to see how she makes the adjustment on the high school level. Her size at her position, along with her ball skills, will have many interested.

Andrea is an incoming freshman with good positional size at the guard spot.
Terry J. The strength of her game is facilitating and getting her teammates involved. She is a high-end decision-maker in tight quarters and in the open floor. She knows how to control tempo and knows how to keep her team in rhythm. She has vision and accuracy and is also a timely passer who effectively gets the ball to her teammates in positions to be successful. As I mentioned earlier, she doesn't depend on scoring to be seen, and it wasn't her ability to score that got her a nod at being a top performer; it was Cornelia's playmaking skills with the ball in her hands that solidified her as a top performer. Cornelia is the type of player that is a reliable player to have the keys to the team, even if she is only entering her sophomore season.

Cornelia is a player that impacts the game without scoring but can score the rock when needed.
Terry J. She showed a lot more confidence in her game and played with a lot more poise. Her game has matured, and she is a much more stabilizing force at the lead guard spot with a greater command of the game. With what was at times considered erratic play a year ago, which could have been due to her youthfulness, she still had a very impressive performance at last year's camp. This year she is a lot more stable and a sure bet with the ball in her hands. She has grown as a decision-maker, expanded her bag of tools regarding scoring and passing, improved her vision and passing accuracy, and showed a greater willingness to defend. Kitali isn't done developing, and I am confident that when I see her again, I will see even more improvement across the board.

Her game has matured, and she is a much more stabilizing force at the lead guard spot with a greater command of the game.
Terry J. She has blow-by speed that kept defenders playing catch-up. Taj was one of the hardest players for defenders to stop because, for the most part, she was just too fast for most who tried to keep her in front of them. She was really at her best when the game was up-tempo, as she was able to push the pace of play. She found herself in the paint quite often and did a lot of damage while there. She scored with two feet in the paint and got teammates' open looks by collapsing the defense and kicking it out to open shooters. When the defense tried to sag off her, she punished them by knocking down the trey ball. She is tough to defend, and it is nearly impossible to contain her with just one defender.

Taj was one of the quickest guards in the camp and was on full throttle the entire day.
Terry J. She orchestrated the offense and was a creator off the bounce. She does a lot of things well, from handling the rock, getting teammates involved, playing with pace, keeping defenders off balance with her change of speed and change of direction ability, but the one thing that stands out is her passing skills. She is a really good passer and was one of the best at camp. Her ability to see the floor and see plays develop assists her with being able to make the right passes. Offensively she had a very good camp, but defensively she still needs to make a greater commitment on that end of the floor. The PG is often the first line of defense at the origin of attack, and it is important to have a PG that can create resistance at that point. If it was one thing that left me wanting to see more of when it came to Frankee's game, it was her ability to defend at a high level.

Frankee was the epitome of PGs at camp.
Terry J. She is a downhill attacking guard that was physical off the bounce and at the cup. There was nothing flashy, jerky, or calculated when it came to her game off the bounce. She put pressure on the defense and forced them as a unit to try and contain her dribble penetration. I was glad to see her ability to knock down the trey ball, as she has another weapon whenever defenders play off her and when defenses build walls to take away driving lanes. She came into camp with an aggressive mindset, and it showed the entire day.

She is a downhill attacking guard that was physical off the bounce and at the cup.
Terry J. She has size, skill, and a great understanding and feel for the game. She can score the rock, but it was the 'other' aspects of her game that really stood out. She went from playing the lead guard spot to posting on the low block with her back to the basket. She handled the rock and showed exceptional footwork in the paint. She was a playmaker off the bounce while at the same time displaying a robust post-game. She ran the floor and got easy buckets in transition, while at other times, she was leading the break and making accurate reads, and the right passes. On top of all those things and more, she defended in space and on the low block. Graycen is a rising sophomore, and I will definitely be keeping my eyes on her progression over the next couple of years. I did not see her shoot it from behind the arc, so that is a question I left with when it comes to her game, and I would encourage Graycen to continue to work on her foot speed, quickness, and agility. I am really excited about Graycen's development and the potential that comes with her as she prepares for her sophomore campaign.

She handled the rock and showed exceptional footwork in the paint.
Terry J.
