She moves incredibly quickly and can attack the rim in a way that other players are unable to. Rebounds well, does a great job on the boards, and has the ability to score on missed shots. Her length and speed, she will guard the best offensive player on the other team. Outstanding athleticism who routinely has no problem scoring. She will be moving up four spots in the rankings, number 48 to 44.

With the outstanding upperclassmen on her squad, she hasn’t been expected to score a lot, but occasionally she has stood up and got the job done when needed to help her team. She will defend the opponent’s greatest offensive player because of her length and quickness. Excellent rebounder who consistently averages double figures. Sophia has adapted well to the high school game and hopes to develop it further.

As a freshman, Sophia has more than proven she can play at a high level with a good start to the season. The Southeast Ohio baller is an athletic post with good knowledge of the game. She dropped a big double-double last week with 13 points and 14 boards. She is quick on her feet does a nice job at the basket, able to finish. Big rebounder also. Can step out and hit from the midrange. One to watch!!

She has huge potential this season and should start for Clay when the season gets here. She is very quick on her feet and can attack the rim like most players can’t. Does an excellent job on the boards, rebounds well and can score on the putbacks. Steps out to 12-14 feet and at 5-11, she will make big strides in the next couple of years.
