Out of the 32 teams, I caught 3/4th of them at least once so to say I Have countless articles coming is definitely an understatement. Here are 6 that just left me speechless on several occasions but hold your horses, much more will be coming
Mikaylah Williams Mikaylah Williams 6'0" | CG Parkway | 2023 State LA -6’1 CG (Parkway) LA 2023
Williams sold me on m initial sighting a couple of seasons ago on where she should be as far as national rankings because without seeing an abundance of players outside of Texas, I know where the bar has been set. She will make an immediate impact at LSU because she can score however you want it, the midrange is virtually unstoppable yet her body control while attacking the basket makes her an “and one” waiting to happen. To top all of that off, her unselfishness and ability to make those around her better speaks volumes
Savannah Scott Savannah Scott 6'4" | C Conway | 2023 State AR -6’4 C (Conway) AR 2023
Scott has simply added even more to her impressive game than when I last saw her. Yeah, she has the college-ready body when she heads to Auburn after she graduates but her hands and footwork and ability to finish with players literally hanging on her are special. She runs the floor, on both ends, rebounds, on both ends yet she has improved on her agility as she blocked shots coming from out of nowhere using excellent timing
Mariah Clayton Mariah Clayton 6'0" | SF Duncanville | 2024 State TX -6’0 SF (Duncanville) 2024
Clayton understands something valuable and that’s “she finds ways to put the ball in the basket”. She has a powerful first step and finishes powerfully off the dribble after contact is included. She also scores multiple ways around the basket, including putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends and can handle the ball coast to coast to drop the jumper as well as score but her court vision also needs t be mentioned. She makes crisp passes in traffic plus her defense is solid
Kiyleyah Parr Kiyleyah Parr 5'5" | CG La Vega | 2024 State TX -5’5 PG (La Vega) 2024
Parr is one of many talented guards that are almost clones because they go so hard on the defensive end which is going to take them far in the playoffs. Her on-the-ball pressure coupled with her quick hands lead to steals as well as making the offensive player turn the ball over yet her quickness with the ball to score acrobatically, usually after contact, is major. She drops the mid to long-range as well as sets her teammates up for easy baskets
Arionna Patterson Arionna Patterson 6'0" | CG Walker | 2025 State LA -6’0 G/F (Walker) LA 2025
Patterson was over and beyond when I first saw her probably 3 years ago and I think my exact words were “her ceiling has no roof” and with countless college coaches buzzing about her countless ways to score had me smiling. She elevates over defenders, off the dribble as well as with the jumper yet her shot is smooth and her release is quick and accurate. She also defended both inside and outside the paint and rebounded on both ends.
Jasmine Gipson Jasmine Gipson 6'0" | SF Duncanville | 2025 State TX -5’10 SG/SF (Duncanville) 2025
Gipson falls into the instant offense off-the-bench category as her being “long and athletic” which is the base has many intangibles. First of all, she plays the passing lane as well as rebounds on both ends but she also can handle the ball in the open court afterward. Her jumper from mid to long-range continues to be a threat, yet her attacking the basket from everywhere and finishing strongly are huge. She also plays solid “on-the-ball” defense
