Whether she was at Brownsburg or not, I would probably call Kailyn a bulldog of a guard. She has a strong, athletic frame, broad shoulders, she plays with a tremendous motor and toughness, and she doesn’t mind physicality one bit. She does a nice job of taking care of the basketball and getting it where it needs to go on time/on target. At the same time, she can consistently make shots outside or attack the basket North/South and finish. She’s also a gritty, effortful defender who can really frustrate opposing ball-handlers.

Kailyn has good size and strength, she plays with a great motor, and she has shown the ability to play equally well on or off the ball. She can be a primary ball-handler, she gets the ball where it needs to go, and she actually does a really nice job of screening. She can knock down an open shot, she absorbs contact well when she attacks the basket, and she is a willing rebounder at her size. Defensively, she is probably better guarding ‘2s’, however she shows both effort and discipline at that end of the floor.
