Quinn was one of the more intriguing young prospects I watched in Louisville, especially after realizing her age and that she is playing up two classes on the GUAA circuit. She has a long frame and uses her length well around the basket by showing the ability to finish creatively in traffic and score over defenders. She also displayed a high release on her jumper and flashed a nice mid-range fadeaway that added another layer to her offensive game. With her combination of size, versatility, and skill, Quinn has significant long-term upside and is a prospect worth tracking closely as she continues to develop.

At this point in time, I feel comfortable saying that whenever we finally rank kids in 2030, whether that’s in December or March, Quinn will be competing for that top spot. She is long, wiry-strong, and athletic in all directions. She has tremendous skill for her age/height, as she can play a point forward role, she can play on the wing, and she’s willing to play inside. Playing 17U on Thursday was good for her and to evaluate her, because the physicality will help her adjust to the Varsity season coming up. What’s scary is, she’s only going to get stronger, maybe taller, and better.

I saw Quinn briefly last Summer and earlier this Spring, but we will start getting into 2030 stuff later in June, so I figured I’d mention her after this weekend. Brownsburg will be getting a special player/prospect next season. She has nice length, a wiry strength to her, and she is highly skilled at her size. Saturday, a lot of her play was off the dribble, but she stood out with an up-and-under, reverse layup she made, and she had a nice mid-post, turn-around, fade-away jumper that other girls don’t even practice, let alone use in game conditions. Enjoy her skill each time you get to see her.
