Even though the outcome wasn't what she wanted, Macy put a lot of people on notice. She's smooth, relaxed, and unbothered. All of that shows in her efficiency. She missed only two shots in game 1, and finished 48% for field with averaging 12ppg for the entire tournament. She gets to her spots with pace and logic. She can score from all levels, handle the ball, and create looks for all of her teammates. However, even though the shots that she makes on a nightly basis weren't falling, Walton still managed to put up a strong stat line. 13ppg was impressive, but its how she got them. Her normal chunk of points come from beyond the arc, but this series she was able to show her creativity to get to the rim. Xamiya has always been a three level threat, but she put an emphasis on that this weekend. The energy on the opposite side of the ball was apparent too. 5stls and 5.5rebs for the tourney. Walton is a special talent. u003c/emu003eu003c/pu003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["335774"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"u003cp style=u0022text-align: centeru0022u003eu003cemu003ePesky, focused and an absolute tyrant on the defensive end. She causes issues for the opposing offense by just being active in every possession. Offensively (12.5ppg for the weekend), Whether it's from the the arc, the quick and strong rim attacks or just being in the right place at the right time...she finds ways to score. Playing every minute in both games, Smith showed how much of battery she is for that program. In Game 1, she did what was necessary of the team, crashing the boards and being disruptive. In the game that secured her a ring for senior year, Korte showed the true extent of her skillset. 3-4 from the field, 2-3 from the 3.. 11 points and 7 rebounds. Trame showed how efficient she can be when she's in attack mode. Not one long ball attempted this weekend from Trame, everything came from the line or the paint. Her stature doesnt define her play style.
