#22rnAlaiah went up against the top team in the country and at times was the best player on the court. She gave Montverde a scare outscoring their whole team in the first quarter while helping Mt. Zion Prep keep the game close heading in the the final period.
#29rnSydney has been on a scoring tear in Frederick County and Coach Al has been on hand to witness. Forty point games and leading the county in scoring will turn heads on paper, seeing the skill live and watching her tear up defenders puts her in the top 30 in the rankings.
#33rnMadison’s range has been making her near unguardable. She is jacking up shots from 35 feet out and making them on a consistent bases. She has great size for a guard at 5’9″ and having a couch that trusts you enough to give you the green light on those shots is a real confidence boost.
#58rnChrisdin did her part in helping Henry Wise to a championship. She was able to make plays scoring in the double digit range in each game we’ve seen in the second half of the season. She is a guard with size to play in the paint when needed and is a good defender.
#42rnAva has been on a double-double rampage and it’s starting to get noticed. If she can keep the streak going over the summer college coaches will have to recognize her talent. She plays hard on both ends and rebounds out of her area.
#37rnAt 6’3″ Aubree has the ability to affect the game without the ball. She must be accounted for on offense as you don’t want to give up a point blank layup. Defensively is where she shines as she uses her length to block and alter shots making player think twice about driving in the lane.
