The forward position encapsulates a few things: rebounding, interior scoring, and a defensive presence. These four names certainly showed a combination of these inclusive basketball talents. Tatum Schmerbach shows a lot of heart at the position for South Medford. Tatum Schmberach 2023 5'9" SG South Medford HS - the undersized forward more than makes up for it with her ability to scrap and play with intensity. The OIT signee had a nice showing - 6 points and 7 rebounds as an anterior glass finisher and established rebounder. An absolute bruiser with inside/out scoring ability. Fearless competitor and has tons of grit. She is a player that makes others better, with the timing on the boards, defensive prowess, and ability to score. 9 points and 10 rebounds. Contributed 7 points and 3 rebounds versus the Panthers as a suave forward with superb footwork and a determined outlook on offense.
