MHS Midwest Elite 90 Showcase: Byron’s Top Upperclassmen

The first hour, consisted of players going through multiple drills that tested different skills with their game. After that, pre-drafted teams are put in 5 on 5 games, and they play the rest of the time. Ive always thought Norkus relied on her athleticism to be the player that she is, but I was completely wrong. Her athleticism is so hard to miss.. that you completely overlook the footwork, the patience, and just the pure aggression that she steps on the court with. Norkus is always the most in shape kid no matter what gym she's in, I have yet to see her get tired, or show it. A true three level scorer, a multiple position defender and a pure athlete. She showed in almost all games that she can be whatever the team needs her to be. She can score, facilitate, and defend. Strong handles, strong vision and the ability to play on and off the ball with the same amount of impact. Reed is what a program needs in a guard.
