Alaijah contributed in every aspect of the game today for Mumford at the LBI Mitten Opening. She used a crossover spin dribble combination to create space in the lane and converted multiple contested floaters. Alaijah’s quick hands deflected passes to create steals and stripped the ball away on drives. She rejected a shot with authority in the paint and dished out assists to open teammates. Alaijah drove hard through contact to earn trips to the free-throw line and knocked them down. She cut backdoor, caught the pass in top speed, made a quick transfer, and finished the layup. Alaijah had a fantastic day and looks ready for a huge senior season.

Alaijah was active on Saturday for Lady FVV 17U NXT at Jamfest. She drove down the baseline with a burst and converted a tough contested floater. Alaijah beat her defender with a quick crossover and finished the play with an emphatic and-one layup off the glass. She showed her outside range by draining two corner triples. Alaijah grabbed steals on defense and made an impact with her gritty effort on both ends.

was a breakout performer for
Michigan Dream Elite
at the Cagers Invitational and I greatly enjoyed seeing her compete for the first time. She split through defenders to score a floater and converted another drive through contact for an and one. Alaijah utilized shifty ball handling dribble moves to create space and changed heights of her dribble against pressure to beat defenders. She showed excellent body control, closing out without fouling to create a missed shot. Alaijah plays in a balanced defensive stance with quick slides and she stole the ball multiple times. She shoots from a balanced platform and extended her range to drill a wing 3 off of a screen. Alaijah had no problem competing up and leading her 2025 team.

Thomas was very impressive when I saw her play at HYPE. She showed a lot of skill and upside and is a prospect to be very excited about. Thomas set the tone for her game on the defensive end of the floor. She was able to pick up at halfcourt and pressure the ball. Thomas had quick hands and excellent defensive vision. She created multiple turnovers and turned defense into offense.
