McKenzie is a serious defender that applies non-stop ball pressure the length of the court. She has excellent footwork and stamina so it’s usually a long day for ball handlers when she’s around. She’s tough in passing lanes and has good hands. She’s an exceptional athlete with good speed and explosive hops. She really improved her passing accuracy and ability to run the point guard this season. She is mulling over a few options.

McKenzie is the engine that makes Forest Park go. Her point of attack defense sets the tone for everything they want to do. She’s relentless with on ball pressure and is good for 4 or 5 steals per game. On offense she has really improved her ability to drive and deliver accurate passes to her teammates this season. She’s an explosive athlete and gets into the paint at will.

McKenzie came on late to earn the MVP award for the black team. She had a couple of tough finishes in traffic stretching out her entire 5’5″ frame to get the ball over the defenders. She nailed a couple of three pointers to seal the deal in the voting. This made her the first ever Family Reunion player to win the MVP back to back.

Mckenzie has an all around game as she does many things well. Her value lands in her versatility as she can fill in multiple positions, She plays a lot taller than her listed 5’5″ height and comes up with a lot of rebounds when taller people around her are in position.

Everything that McKenzie does won’t be on the stat sheet. Her leadership and court awareness combined with her ability to get the ball to her teammates in position to score can go unnoticed. We were able to absorb it all at the showcase.
