The guard is a valuable perimeter defender under a variety of circumstances. From the point of attack, Thornton reads the feet and hips of opponents, proving dependable anticipating their decisions. Whether she tips the ball away or walls off the opponent, she was easily one of the best perimeter defenders at this event. Thornton is equally adept in the open floor, utilizing those steals to jumpstart wide open fast breaks. The junior has already garnered some attention from local programs, garnering an offer from Regis University. Through her season with Horizon, Thornton put up 9.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='571042' first='Shay' last='Vigil'] - Westminster - 2026</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vigil possesses deep range on the jump shot as a crafty guard who does well changing speeds in the halfcourt. The freshman from Westminster had one of the best showings of any freshman guard at this event. The shotmaking was certainly a very intriguing aspect, however her defensive anticipation was on full display through this event. While pushing the pace, Vigil searches for the best possible shot, looking to find open shooters along the perimeter. Through her initial season with Westminster, the guard put 6.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. The 5'8 freshman out of Thomas Jefferson brought plenty of energy to this event, drawing multiple fouls off of drives into the paint. She has quick processing speeds once she feels contact on her arm, rapidly raising her arms to draw the shooting foul. At roughly 5'7, the freshman combo guard was a constant threat off the ball, garnering plenty of gravity from defenders. She has attracted plenty of attention through her freshman season, putting up 27.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The 5'7 guard was adept hitting baseline cutters while she was at the top of the key, possessing excellent accuracy finding teammates. Kravig's processing speed goes both ways, notably through her defensive anticipation grabbing steals in passing lanes. Through her sophomore year at University, the guard put up 5.4 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
