<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weekend's level of competition would best be described as intense and unforgettable. Jenkins is a shifty and quick handling point guard who can score, distribute, and guard at a high rate. She has a great head on her shoulders and works hard on both ends of the floor. Not to mention that she is usually one of the smaller players on the court but competes with a physicality that is next level. Throughout the weekend she led her team to an overall 4-0 record with a total point differential of 60 points in those 4 games, recording the highest point differential of the entire tournament at the 15U level. Keep an eye on Jenkins. Her interest this spring/summer is going to sky rocket after college coaches see her live in action. She has a lot of promise and a high ceiling when it comes to the game of basketball.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"EllaMay Cooper","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2027","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"5'6u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"12123","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"Team Wisconsin Magic 2026 National","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Throughout my 6 weekends on the road covering AAU ball this spring thus far I've seen a large amount of incredible talent throughout all age levels. One of the best this weekend being EllaMay Cooper of Team Wisconsin Magic 2026 National. Cooper is a 2027 player competing up a year for her Magic squad and putting on a show. She is a player who can handle and control a basketball game at an impressive level. Throughout the entire weekend she put on a display of elite ball handling, crafty guard play, and veteran leadership to help her team to an overall 3-1 record. I don't personally know the 7th and 8th grade classes in Wisconsin but going into her freshman year I would be surprised if Cooper isn't a top guard in her class, if not THEE top guard in her class. I only had a chance to see her for this weekend but if she keeps this up, she will be finding a home with a successful college program in the near future. Skaggs is a player with some growing interest out of the state of Iowa. She possesses a guard skill set while being a long and scrappy defender. She understands situational basketball to a T and her teams best course of action a majority of the time. All of this stuff, mixed with her aggressive and determined demeanor with the ball in her hands, created a lot of success for her team this weekend as they went 4-0. If you ask Skaggs she would tell you that these wins are a complete team effort and that speaks to who she really is as a person, more-so than just a player. This group is fun to watch and I will definitely be catching them again this spring/summer.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='736760' first='Melia' last='Lemorande'] ","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"6'0u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"12125","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Bay Port","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"Purple Aces 2026 National ","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"One of the most complete and well-rounded players that I had a chance to watch this weekend was [player_tooltip player_id='736760' first='Melia' last='Lemorande'] of the Wisconsin Purple Aces 2026 National team. Lemorande is a player who just jumps right off the screen when you sit down to watch her team compete. She stands right around 6 FT tall while possessing an elite shooting stroke and nice handle. On offense she is a mismatch in most situations and knows it, leading to a good amount of success for herself. She can score over smaller defenders with ease, take her opponent off of the dribble, or score in the mid-post if given some time and space. I mentioned this weekend that the Purple Aces is a program that checks all the boxes and simply does things the right way, Lemorande is a great example of that in the form of a player. Someone who leaves it all on the court, trying to help her teammates to victory while always keeping a positive attitude. That would not of been possible with out the consistent and efficient scoring provided by [player_tooltip player_id='636528' first='Lilly' last='Kejo']. Kejo is a main piece of this teams u00221-2 punchu0022 on offense. She is a player who can pass and distribute at a high rate for her team but is more dangerous as a scorer. In general, she is player with an elite ability to put the ball in the basket. With that being said I would like to add that when she scores, it's simple. She doesn't force anything or make an issue of it if an offensive possession doesn't work out. If that's the case she will simple come down the floor and try again the next play, usually being successful the second or third time around. There is beauty in the art of basketball and one of the most beautiful things is efficiency. Kejo has a ton of that. This team and their u00221-2 punchu0022 of Kejo and Jenkins is going to be one to know in the state of Wisconsin over the next few seasons.
