Pivniska did the dirty work for a sharpshooting Millerettes squad in a win over Moore. Her size was needed against a taller Moore frontline, and the junior answered the call with rebounds, challenging shots and even had a couple good finishes on offense. But she also showed she’s more than just a battler around the basket. The junior joined in on the three point party with a big three during Yukon’s second half run that helped them pull away. Along with a nice defensive rep, where her quick hands forced a turnover in transition.

Block after block after block and then a few steals here and there… then you see her step out and start draining threes. So, yeah, about that “new generation of bigs,” here’s another very good one. Pivniska can do it all. She moves very well, gets up and down the floor quickly and moves well without the ball. I am excited to get to see Addison in person this season and if you’re looking to better your college team, you should be too.
