Nicole Norton Nicole Norton 5'8" | CG Colchester | 2024 State NewE , 5’9 G – Ranked #94 – Lone Wolf Athletics
With hawk-like defensive ability and serious athleticism, Norton is impactful in a number of ways. Nicole matches up 1-3 and can dig in against strong ballhandlers and occupy passing lanes + rebound the rock and track down 50/50s. And offensively, she’s a combo-guard with impressive slashing and finishing around the cup. Moreover, her jumper off the catch can really heat up. Norton continues to grow.
Addison Cadwell Addison Cadwell 5'10" | PG Thetford | 2024 State NewE , 5’10 G/W – Ranked #101 – Blueprint Basketball
A point-forward at heart, Addison produces a ton of winning basketball. Cadwell defends 2-4 with her size and strength, able to interchange between perimeter and post defense. In addition, she rebounds at a high rate and is immediately in transition. She’s a deadeye with her passing in the fastbreak, can finish it herself, or set up the offense and make plays for others. Cadwell is legit.
Brianna Brownell Brianna Brownell 5'9" | SF Mount Mansfield | 2024 State NewE , 5’9 W/F – Ranked #104 – Blueprint Basketball
Brianna is that one who outworks and outsmarts her opponents. Brownell’s hustle to track down boards, 50/50s, and cover multiple positions, inside and out, make her so dynamic. Her help defense is timely and her rotations crisp. And once the ball is secured, she’s running hard in transition for easy buckets. Her jumper is silk in the mid-range, she’s an adept slasher, and passes well out of the post and from the perimeter, never forcing. Highly efficient and the ultimate team player.
Kaia Anderson Kaia Anderson 5'9" | SF St. Johnsbury | 2024 State NewE , 5’9 W/F – Ranked #110 – Blueprint Basketball
Extremely selfless, Kaia does the dirty work that doesn’t always show up in the box score. Anderson is a hardnosed defender who covers 2-4, an intuitive helper, and is always in pursuit of boards. Moreover, she’s constantly in communication, pointing out actions and incoming screens. And offensively, she’s an off-ball orchestrator. She talks + organizes, cuts hard, serves up tough screens, and can finish herself within 15 feet. I like her grit and intangibles.
Ryleigh Hughes Ryleigh Hughes 5'9" | SF Rutland | 2024 State NewE , 5’9 W – Ranked #113 – Blueprint Basketball
Hughes fits most cleanly at the 3. Ryleigh is one who can shoot a bit off the catch and slash, finishing with physicality inside. Plus, her passing from the perimeter or the post puts teammates in scoring positions. On the defensive end, Hughes battles. She’s constantly in the mix for boards and her rotations are crisp. A stocky wing who can cover some 4s, Ryleigh provides a ton of work ethic and energy.
Brooke’lyn Robinson Brooke’lyn Robinson 5'7" | SG Lyndon Institute | 2024 State NewE , 5’7 G – Ranked #119 – Lone Wolf Athletics
One of the most efficient players with the ball, Robinson is that high-IQ 2-guard that gives opponents fits. Brookelyn is incredibly intuitive, moving so wisely off the ball as she finds gaps to exploit where she can rise into her jumper. Yet she never holds the ball. If the jumper nor the slash are there, she makes quick feeds and can set teammates up with her ahead-of-the-defense vision. An agile defender and smart rotator, Brookelyn is a top tier decision maker on both ends.
Emma Greenan Emma Greenan 5'11" | PF St. Johnsbury | 2024 State NewE , 5’11 F – Ranked #123 – St. Johnsbury Academy
Greenan continues to develop into a savvy 4. Emma’s mid-range jumper is bottom, and because of it, she’s able to pull forwards out and face-up. Emma has moves to slide by and finish inside or post-up, and she hits cutters + spot-up shooters on time. Moreover, Emma is a tough screener who can pop and knock it down. And defensively, Emma is measured as she guards the post with length + strength and hits the glass. Very solid and she continues to grow.
Ruby Dasaro Ruby Dasaro 5'7" Bellows Free Academy | 2024 State NewE , 5’7 G – Ranked #133 – Lone Wolf Athletics
One of the most agile and springy guards around VT, Ruby brings a ton of athleticism to the table. She glues herself to ballhandlers and steers them with her combo of length, footwork, and agility. Furthermore, she uses that athleticism to collect 50/50s and push the tempo. Dasaro finishes well in transition + the halfcourt with her verticality, and she has the playmaking to facilitate and feed others. Ruby is one to watch.
