Class Of 2026: Top 5 Rebounders Returning To See This Summer

Townsend, is a 5'10 combo guard that is versatile on the floor. She can spread the court with her ability to put the ball on the floor and distribute to open teammates, she can work the mid-post off of the catch, and she is especially solid with her back to the basket. Not to mention, when it comes to rebounding she is easily one of the best throughout the state of Nebraska. Her size, coordination, and strength give her a clear advantage and she uses it really well. Last season Townsend averaged 11.7 PPG u0026amp; 11.4 RPG. A player that uses her physicality and aggressive play style to dominate the glass against her opponents. Gibbs is a player that is always diving on the floor for a loose ball or trying to get her teammates pumped up. She uses her energy to out perform her opponents on a nightly basis, it's something special to watch. This is evident by her stat line last season when she averaged 12.1 PPG, 10.9 RPG, 3 APG, and 3 SPG. A player that thrives by the hoop, displayed that she is going to be a problem over the next few seasons in Nebraska's girls high school basketball. Thomas stands around 6FT with good athleticism and coordination. She has active hands and understands to stay down against an opponent defensively until they about to shoot, then to rise up and get a block with her superior mixture of size and quickness. Offensively, Thomas knows her game and keeps it simple. She takes what the defense gives her leading to a good amount of success when it comes to scoring and rebounding against any competition. As a freshman last season she averaged 10.7 RPG. This year she is going to try and do the same, while helping her team to a more successful season overall. Moore, a 5'10 forward, is a big piece to whatever team she is playing on. Last season, if she didn't averaged double digits in scoring, while also grabbing a good amount of rebounds, her team usually lost. When on the flip side, if she scored well and rebounded well, they seem to always pull out a W. I think it's as simple as that. Moore is a nice piece to the Mullen High School puzzle that is their basketball team. With her leading from the front, this upcoming season is looking promising. If she continues to work hard and strive to make everyone around her better, this team will be just fine. Dolliver returns this winter as one of the top players out of the 2026 class in the state of Nebraska. Her overall game is ahead of most her age right now, if not all. She can score on all three levels effectively, she rebounds on both sides of the floor at a high rate, and she defensively can stick with anyone playing the 1-4 position at the moment. Dolliver stands around 5'10 and plays the shooting guard position but she is skilled enough to move and play PG or CG if need be. It all just depends on what her team is asking of her. Remember the name because the next few years, Dolliver, is going to stay relevant on the basketball court in the state of Nebraska.
