Kansas United 15 Soyuz’s and Andover Central’s Brittany Harshaw denies the passing lane to a Game Changers’ post player.Brooke Eby, 5’11”, Trinity Academy, PF, Bluejays 16U Black – Eby showed the ability to strongly control space when posting up. Once with the ball she can get off a shot quickly. Defensively she actively denied entry passes well from over the top.
Brittany Harshaw, 6’0″, F, Andover Central, Kansas United 15U Soyez – Harshaw runs the floor well. She made a nifty play on a break by catching the ball going full speed down the lane and finishing. That play illustrates her ability to get her shot up quickly. Good court awareness.
Hooks Shots 15 Norton’s and Olathe East’s Michelle Schneller looking toward a teammate on the wing.Michelle Schneller, 5’11”, F, Olathe East, Hook Shots 15U Norton – Schneller is going to get a great deal of attention very soon. She possesses a combination of court awareness, athleticism, good hands, and interior ball skills. She showed strength by overpowering two opposing players for a loose ball. She does need to bring the ball up higher when she finishes. Multiple times she had the ball knocked away because she held too low.
Guadelupe Urbina-Montez, 6’0″, PF, Wichita Northwest, Kansas United 15U Soyez – Urbina-Montez is a project with a great deal of upside. Base skill set is in place to go with her overall size. A key to her development on both ends of the floor will be improving her quickness
