As the high school summer just wrapped up and players about to finish their AAU seasons, I am taking a closer look into the conferences to review some of the top players who are returning. Here is the WESCO 2A/3A conference. This is just some of them, there will be more articles with other players.

[player_tooltip player_id='492075' first='Kayla' last='Renee Lorenz'] - 2024 - Lynnwood HS

Kayla plays alongside [player_tooltip player_id='464997' first='Aniya' last='Hooker'], making one of the top guard backcourts in the entire state. She has solid size, being able to play all over the court. She drives the ball smoothly and also had a very smooth jump shot that she can sink off the dribble or off the catch. She just recently received an offer from Judson University.

[player_tooltip player_id='592428' first='Ava' last='Marr'] - 2025 - Archbishop-Murphy HS

Ava's game has evolved quite a bit since the beginning of her sophomore year. She improved weekly with Archbishop-Murphy last season and has been doing the same this summer with NW Blazers. She plays under control very well, being able to play off two feet well and finish athletically around the basketball. She finds her teammates nicely, always sharing the ball and playing unselfishly.

[player_tooltip player_id='527415' first='Samara' last='Morrow'] - 2024 - Arlington HS

Samara plays alongside [player_tooltip player_id='589899' first='Kierra' last='Reese'] and the two of them make a deadly, dangerous team. Samara will likely be the primary ball handler, facilitating the offense very efficently. She finds her teammates at a high rate but can also put the ball in the basket very nicely. She shoots the deep shot well and if she gets in a rhythm, could sink 7+ in a single game.

[player_tooltip player_id='659455' first='Jazmyn' last='Legg'] - 2025 - Stanwood HS

Jazmyn is an underclassman who is going to surprise quite a few people next season. She will be on a lot of coaches radars, if she's not already. She has a natural smooth jump shot, displaying her scoring abilities at all 3 levels. Legg does a great job at creating shots for her teammates but also herself too. This guard from Stanwood is going to have a big junior year next season.
