Laci just finished her last run of summer basketball and looks to lead the Lady Conquerors come November. She is an all around ball player that gets it done on both ends of the floor. Scott can shoot from just about anywhere on the court and her defense will, undoubtedly, lead to many fast break points. She is a solid ball handler who will keep her teammates involved throughout the game but she can take over at any given moment and it will be hard to stop her when she gets hot!
McKenzie had another stellar summer with Oklahoma Swift , playing against nationally ranked opponents and letting it be known that she is one of the best to play the game! — and, when school ball starts, she will lead the Lady Tigers to a very successful season! She will, without a doubt, face double teams and be face guarded throughout the season but this D1 commit will do what she does and perform each time she steps foot on the hardwood. Mathurin’s skill set goes beyond shooting and defense – her footwork inside the paint is next level and the way she can get around defenders is simply amazing!
Brooke is a player that is set for a monster junior season. She is a true floor general! Bettis is one of the better/accurate passing guards and her teammates will need to be ready at all times as she can manuever and manipulate the ball between the defense to drop a nice dime to her open teammates. — she gets the job done on offense but her defense is what sets her apart from a lot of the other guards in her class; she plays up close, reads the pass well and makes numerous stops with her aggressive (yet, controlled) approach. — the Redhawks are in good hands with Brooke leading the way!
Ava is a known 3 point shooter but this summer, she has added numerous elements to her game that make her a threat from the inside, as well. Ava knows how to get to her spots and in transition, she reads and sees the floor well – knowing when to attack the basket & when to drop a nice assist to her teammates. She will be a big factor in Holland Hall’s success this upcoming season!
Highlights
Mataya will lead the Lady Chargers this coming season with her crafty finishes and quick shots from beyond the arc. She is a player who can slice through defenses and finish at the rim through traffic. She isn’t just a offensive threat as she has killer instincts on defense and can guard all 5 positions. — when Hall isn’t scoring or making stops, she is doing all the little things to set her teammates up for easy baskets and finding her open teammates in transition. Mataya will have an exceptional junior year!
