Brant is quick and can get to the rim against quality opponents, and she can shoot from the perimeter, whether it’s in the midrange or the three-pointer. Defensively, Brant has the speed to cut off driving angles and lock down ball handlers with pressure up top. Brant is a player to watch this summer as she heads into her seniort season.

Jayde Brant Jayde Brant 5'3" | SG Orange Park | 2027 State FL connected on a three and it looked good from the moment it left her hand. Brant has a nice shooting motion and takes good shots. She can also get downhill and take it to the paint and score. Brant is a two-way player who impacts the defensive side of the ball as well. She uses quickness, instincts, and good anticipation in the passing lanes to get steals and deflections.

Her quick first step and attacking mindset make her an instant spark — she plays fearless and creates chaos for defenders. On the defensive end, Brant plays the passing lanes and anticipates errant passes. She has the ability to guard a team’s best ball handler and make life miserable for them.

Jayde Brant Jayde Brant 5'3" | SG Orange Park | 2027 State FL is a nice looking point guard who helped lead Orange Park to a district title with a floor full of Freshman counterparts. Brant has the quickness, the speed, and the shiftiness to give defenses nightmares. The young guard can also get in the paint and hurt defenses with her float game. Brant has a good three point shot when she shoots on balance and with confidence. Efficiency and consistency will take her game to the next level behind the arc. Brant is quick and can stay in front of guards with her quickness and speed. She creates turnovers that might not show on her stat sheet, but a teammate’s steal total.

Jayde Brant Jayde Brant 5'3" | SG Orange Park | 2027 State FL has that athleticism that makes up for any height advantage an opponent may have against her. Brant impressed today with her ability to play in transition and her decision making on the floor. She got a lot of her young teammates involved on the break and a high tempo offensive attack. Brant gets to the rim with quickness and good footwork. She utilized the euro, the floaters, and speed to score and to be a playmaker for her team.

Jayde Brant Jayde Brant 5'3" | SG Orange Park | 2027 State FL was also a standout on night one of the Orange Park Preseason Classic. The young guard has the ability to drive and score. Bryant also has playmaking ability that really stands out. Her quickness causes double teams which leaves teammates open for the shot. Brant has shown the ability to find the open teammate after breaking the defense down.   Brant is also a tough on the ball defender. She plays the passing lanes and can take it back the other way for the score. Her ability to guard the opposition’s top ball handler will keep her on the floor, and she will be in position to impact the game from multiple areas on the floor.

Jayde Brant Jayde Brant 5'3" | SG Orange Park | 2027 State FL showed the quicks on the floor and her ability to blow by a defender or knife into the paint for a shot was impressive. Brant has a lot of shiftiness to compliment her speed. She is built low to the ground, dribbles low, and not many can stay in front of her. Brant also plays on the defensive end where she is an aggressive in-your-face defender with great lateral movement. She creates steals and turnovers with her aggressive defensive play.

Jayde Brant Jayde Brant 5'3" | SG Orange Park | 2027 State FL is a young guard who was very intriguiing this summer and at the recent Reps on Reps showcase in Jacksonville. Brant is an athletic guard. who has good speed, quickness, and can get down-hill. Brant can stop pon a dime and she has a nice crossover dribble and change of direction. She has a high basketball IQA and and can score the basketball. She can pass the ball and has the skills to be a very good playmaker. Brant is a menace on the ball does a good job of causing and securing turnovers.
