The evaluation period is built for discovery. Beyond the rankings and familiar names, this is where true sleepers begin to separate themselves — players who may not lead in scoring but influence the game in winning ways. Whether it's defensive disruption, speed in transition, or high-motor play, these prospects are putting themselves on the radar. Take a look at a few sleepers making noise this eval period.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117349' first='Micah' last='Bussey'] is another young player who could make strides this upcoming evaluation period. Bussey's bread and butter skillset is her three-point shooting. Bussey has a nice shooting stroke, and she can get hot from behind the arc when she sees a few go in the rim. In addition to launching threes, the 2028 guard has good court vision and makes nice passes to teammates in rhythm. Bussey also has the floater in her repertoire and can use it when she is run off the three-point line aggressively. This evaluation period will be a big one for the young sniper. She will have the stage to show her overall game and showcase her ability to impact various parts of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='748572' first='Jayde' last='Brant'] has flown under the radar for most of her high school career, but there is no doubt about the talent she brings to the court. As with any young player, consistency is the hurdle to overcome. Brant is quick and can get to the rim against quality opponents, and she can shoot from the perimeter, whether it's in the midrange or the three-pointer. Defensively, Brant has the speed to cut off driving angles and lock down ball handlers with pressure up top. Brant is a player to watch this summer as she heads into her seniort season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1100922' first='Keeley' last='Mosley'] is a young guard that no one should sleep on. The young guard can move the needle on the floor with her ability to handle the ball, pass the ball, and shoot from anywhere on the court. Mosley has very good basketball instincts, and the few times I saw her play, her instincts stood out. Mosley runs the point guard position well and doesn't shy away from the moment or pressure. This upcoming evaluation period will be a big one for the young guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='843386' first='Lyric' last='Hewitt'] is a young point guard who stands out as a sleeper with her strong, physical style of play. She is a solid on-ball defender who can also anticipate and jump passing lanes. Offensively, Hewitt attacks the rim with purpose, creates for others as a playmaker, and keeps teammates involved within the flow of the game. She also shows the ability to score in the mid-range, and can score in transition and attacking the rim off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='1318522' first='Annalyse' last='Gray'] is an under-the-radar forward with a versatile, well-rounded game. She plays with controlled pace and shows the ability to slide between forward and guard positions, bringing value on both ends of the floor. Gray handles the ball well for her size, attacks the rim with strength through contact, and can stretch the defense with her perimeter shooting. She also makes her presence felt on the glass, consistently rebounding and pursuing the ball. With her combination of skill, physicality, and positional flexibility, she has the tools to become a dominant presence. She is a sleeper who could emerge during the upcoming evaluation period.

[player_tooltip player_id='1237196' first='Kalyn' last='Thomas'] brings a well-rounded skillset highlighted by her athleticism, length, and defensive presence. She excels at disrupting offenses with active hands, strong on-ball pressure, and the ability to generate steals in passing lanes. Offensively, she is most effective attacking downhill, using her quickness to get to the rim and finish in transition. Thomas also stretches the floor with her ability to knock down the three and has shown a knack for stepping up in crunch-time moments when the game is on the line. Her high motor and energy consistently impact the game, allowing her to contribute on both ends of the court.
