Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Strong physical player with a high IQ and excellent court vision. Strong footwork, post entry passing and shooting from the perimeter. Great off ball movement utilizing screens and pick and roll actions. Not afraid to use size to box out, rebound and slide to rim.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love the game and have a deep desire to play with teammates that play hard, train hard and love the game as much as I do. I love being in the gym. I would say I am outgoing, serious when I need to be and the first to encourage and cheer and celebrate my teams success. I am competitive and very coachable. I am quick to adjust to new direction and take direction well.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in peer helpers, served as a office aide and teachers aid the last two years. I am involved with my church. I started a handmade jewelry business when I was 12. I was one of 10 athletes selected to participate in the Shooters Shoot retreat in Arizona my freshman year. I also volunteered at the Changing the Game conference in Cleveland for the women's final four.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have volunteered for many years. As far as leadership skills off the court, creating my business and entering into markets has allowed me to be very independent, talk with many people and allowed me to be very comfortable communicating with many different people at one time. I am a leader but also feel as if I am able to see the strengths of my peers and encourage and support each other.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. I was working extremely hard my freshman year and tore my ACL the second game of the season. The most difficult transition was going from 4 hours of activity a day to not being able to run for months. I made a strong commitment to my rehab and found a back to sport facility. It was 80 minutes from my house and I went 2 to 3 x a week for 8 months. The goal to be strong and confident in my game

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to attend a college that has a positive culture. There is excellent communication, high standards, training and development. I am very structured and love developing my skill. I would prefer a school where we work hard together but also have fun together. I would like to pursue a degree in business and marketing for a wellness business I am developing.
