The Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Freshman Showcase featured a bunch of talented players and the diverse skill sets to go with them. Let's take a look at some of the better passers that I saw at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='751140' first='Emma' last='Slotman'] (Hamilton)

Slotman could be found making good passes at the event. She did a great job looking up the floor and advancing the ball with the pass. She was able to connect and put teammates in open floor scoring opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='751144' first='Halie' last='Bishop'] (Lawton)

Bishop was impressive with the pass in Grand Rapids. What really drew my attention was her ability to feed the post. She had a really nice over the top post feed that went only where her teammate could get it.

[player_tooltip player_id='751169' first='Sydney' last='Hutson'] (East Lansing)

Hutson is a terrific basketball talent. She was an athletic passer that could get rid of it on the run and hit her teammates when they cut to the rim.

McKenley Reid (Bloomfield Hills Marian)

Reid looks like a high level point guard that loves to pass. She played with her head up and saw the entire floor. Reid put the ball in the right places with her passing.

[player_tooltip player_id='751137' first='Caitlin' last='Ryan'] (Mattawan)

Mattawan has had good passers recently and that looks like it may be continuing with Ryan. She showed that she could lead the fast break with the ball and dish it off to a finisher. Ryan specifically had a pretty bounce pass to [player_tooltip player_id='751159' first='Marissa' last='Ainsworth'] in transition for an assist.

[player_tooltip player_id='807295' first='Natasha' last='Shell'] (Cass Tech)

Shell was the definition of a playmaker at the showcase. Her ability to find teammates and get them the ball was a huge part of that. Shell showed great court vision and the ability to pass with accuracy on the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='751141' first='Golden' last='Nicholson'] (DeWitt)

Nicholson was excellent with the ball in her hands and her passing was a part of that. She showed that she could break down the D, penetrate the lane and draw the defense, then find open teammates to dish the ball off to.
