We broke down the top ten kids in the updated 2025 rankings. Today, I'd like to go through and knock out some other rankings content. First, we'll highlight some stock risers in this iteration of the 2025 class, and we'll end the day by talking about some new names on the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='465922' first='Megan' last='Geason']

I don't think I saw Geason play in a system that suited her well until this past summer. When Geason is at her best, she's running the floor and playing in transition. She's strong, balanced, and fast. Whenever she got a full head of steam heading toward the basket, Geason scored two points. That athleticism also translated defensively and helped her create transition opportunities. I'm unsure how she'll look with Oak Creek this season, but she may explode next AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='528122' first='Melena' last='Glysch']

The Muskego native is an inside-out threat. She's strong and doesn't mind initiating contact around the basket, but she can also step out and knock down some perimeter jumpers. She impressed with her [program_tooltip program_id='713043' first='Wisconsin' last='Impact'] team early in April at the 16U level, and with some changes with their 17U teams, Glysch finished the summer playing against some elite competition at the 17U level. Glysch could pop over the next 12 months if she continues this form.

[player_tooltip player_id='471480' first='Sarah' last='Helm']

Helm is a kid who's contributed to a successful Cedarburg program over the past two years. Excellent athlete who shoots the lights out flies around defensively, and looks to create extra possessions. It's a common trope, but calling Helm a winner does a solid job of describing her. She fits the profile of hustle kids who've earned spots on D2 rosters. Her speed, willingness to do the dirty work, shooting, and ability to rebound at 5-6 make her an appealing prospect to regional D2s.

[player_tooltip player_id='767266' first='Maddie' last='Rasmussen']

Although Rasmussen's season ended abruptly a year ago, I like the tools she brings to the floor. She's a well-drilled defensive kid, like every Oshkosh West kid, and she's a strong kid who kid space the floor. You can use her in different spots, and she can hurt defenses from anywhere on the floor. Having Rasmussen back, hopefully healthy, for a complete season will make the Wildcats better, and we'll get to see Rasmussen thrive in her senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='767268' first='Emily' last='Gomez']

Now that Braelyn Torres is at Northern Michigan, there's a massive void left behind to be filled by kids like [player_tooltip player_id='338955' first='Lola' last='Bond'] and [player_tooltip player_id='767268' first='Emily' last='Gomez']. Gomez is a name that intrigues me the most, possibly in the entire Classic 8. Her teammates believe in her ability with the ball, and with her [program_tooltip program_id='713045' first='Wisconsin' last='Lakers'] team this summer, she played with poise everywhere I watched her play. The lefty has the mental and physical tools to run a high-level high-school offense and lead Kettle Moraine to a season that could surprise some people.
