I talked about some players that could see increased roles. Today, I want to highlight some teams that could see an uptick in performance this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='465922' first='Megan' last='Geason']

I've talked at length about the pace that Oak Creek has played with over the past few seasons, and that should change slightly at worst. You won't find many athletes like Geason around the state with the speed and power that she possesses. There will be games where Geason could rack up double-digit transition points in the Southeast Conference. She'll also probably have plenty of open perimeter shooting opportunities because of defenses sagging off her to protect the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='421305' first='Jordyn' last='Peed']

The Old Abe offense last season was a steady dose of B. Cayley attacking defenses and attacking open space. This season, they're undergoing something similar to Germantown, but not to that extent. The Old Abes will have plenty of athletes and scrappy wings that can cause chaos in pressing defenses and when they get transition opportunities. Peed is the kid I've felt has been undervalued most by the general public. She can do a little of everything and was the primary defender against Neenah's star in the Sectional Semifinal, and she did a tremendous job.

[player_tooltip player_id='509699' first='Graycin' last='Phillips']

Phillips played most of last season for Waunakee's JV team but did an exemplary job over the summer. She's a 6-0 lengthy wing that can space the floor, protect the rim, and run in transition. I thought she showed loads of potential last summer, and if she can realize her potential, she could elevate this Warriors group to another level. Her physical tools are something that every coach would like to have on their team, and she's continued to develop skill-wise over the past year.

[player_tooltip player_id='448254' first='Savanna' last='Robinson']

In her first two seasons at Kaukauna, she's had [player_tooltip player_id='266984' first='Alexa' last='Kinas'] in the backcourt with her most games. Now, with her injury, things are different. There won't be anyone we learn more about this season than [player_tooltip player_id='448254' first='Savanna' last='Robinson']. The Galloping Ghosts have no choice but to give the reigns over to Robinson, who's shown positive stuff on tape over her first two seasons. However, defenses have never set up to try and fluster her as the lead guard because the focus was mainly on Kinas. Robinson is a good athlete who can push through pressure from the best teams in the FVA. I have no clue what to expect from the Galloping Ghosts, but their successes will likely go hand-in-hand with how well Robinson plays.

I talked about some players that could see increased roles. Today, I want to highlight some teams that could see an uptick in performance this season.
