Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a shooting forward, who is growing into a more polished guard. My original position is post, so I am comfortable around the goal offensively and defensively. However, over the last year and a half, I have moved to more of a guard. My perimeter game is progressing and I believe I will be a tough match up as I get older and my guard skills are refined and post skills reinforced.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I take pride in people recognizing me as a tough competitor, who puts the team first. I try to do everything I can to help the team win, and let all of the stats take care of themselves. I take my role on the team seriously and work to fulfill my role. I am a fun loving 15 year old, who is more concerned about the relationships I have with my teammates more than anything else.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I attend the local Blount County Young Life meetings. I have been recognized three times as a Maryville Junior High School Merit award recipient for extraordinary acts in the building. I am a member of the Teaching as a Profession organization. I participate in community service events which focus on athletes with special needs. I am a peer mentor at MJHS & student teaching assistant.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been fortunate to develop clearer communication skills with my classmates and teammates. I have learned to prioritize my time to be able to succeed in academics and sports. I believe putting others best interests before mine leads to a fulfilled life. My goal is to always lead by example.
