Excellent recognition on getting past the close-out defender and using shot fakes to her advantage. She is a player that keeps defenders on their toes as she she must be accounted for at all times and her ball handling capabilities are opening up a number opportunites on the offensive end.

Here is another bulls-eye shooter in the 2026 class that has been making her mark as a standout in the state. Darla continues to impress with her ability to shoot the ball from deep. Defenders have a very hard time defending her as she can get her shot off quick and in a hurry without hesitation. If the defender closes out to hard, she’ll use a nice one step dribble to free herself and drain it. She also isn’t afraid to take it to the basket when needed which adds yet another element to her game.

Samaria has a knack and feel for the game that you don’t see too often. She has a great understanding of floor spacing and getting to her spots which frees her up for open shots. She is excellent at running the baseline to spot up from the corner and dishing out the pass to the open teammate if the defender drives hard. She can effectively play either of the guard spots and has the confidence you want to see out of your guards.

Rebekah Hartzell
Rebekah Hartzell
Leading her team in points, rebounds and assist, Rebekah Hartzell is a player that is really turning heads this season and forcing us to take notice. Rebekah has one of the most beautiful releases you’ll see in the area and this fiery guard can really get into a zone. She can rise up and shoot it in a hurry and has a really strong mid-range and pull up game. She is certainly one we’re excited to watch more of this season.
This multi-sport star who also plays softball and volley ball has been lighting up the stat sheet of late as she has averaged 26 points to start the season – nearly triple her average from a year ago. Already known as a stand out defender, it is more than a welcome sign for Coach Parker to have Alaina get off to a hot start on the offensive end. She has excelled as a player who can defend the length of the floor and will get into the body of her defenders using her hands to swat the ball away. On offense, she will run the floor hard and get to the rim, getting her shots off quick before the defender can contest.
Miley is a can’t miss prospect as she has stepped up her game early on this season. She can handle PG duties and her size is a true problem for defenders as she has the ability to see over the defense. She is a very good passer and can play off the ball really well. She can operate off the catch or off the dribble and is a load to defend. She has great overall awareness and an excellent feel for the game.
